I just got a 1000w for $100. It turns my bathroom into daylight!

Is there anything I should know about thew 1000w light? I'm a noob with HPS. Any tips? Do's and donts?

Holy shit, the fucking thing turns my bathroom into daylight. It looks like the fucking sun is rising right in my shower when the thing is turned on. I knew I should have gone with the 600, this fucker is overkill...sorry I just felt like posting that lol

On the "bright side" I guess the buds will be nice and compact. That is if they dont get incinerated before they're mature.

um dont touch the bnulb with your hands if ya didnt know that already the oils will heat up anbd pop ytour bulb

OK, I already failed that test. I screwed the bulb in with my hands, so far so good though. And I'd be too scared to use 2 x 1000 watts because of police and shit.

DO not go into the bathroom to pee or shit
DONT take a shower in the bathroom anoymore.
You better have good airflow in there, I did a grow in a bathroom, and a 1000 watter and with just a shitty bath fan, and a few times opening the door. The heat was a bitch

I used that bathroom all day
I even have some company and they were using the bathroom (yea I know, they are my two best friends that I have known for years so I bend the rules for them)

The heat really isn't that bad. I have a fan blowing out the door moving the hot air out. And the poop fan in the ceiling also helps get rid of hot air.

I just gave one of my buddies a 3 1/2 footer thats like 1month into budding.

It's 11:08PM and he's on the interstate driving home with a big pot plant in his car lol

I told him if he gets pulled over he better be ready for an interrogation, the cops little needle dicks will get hard over that plant.

where are you showering? do you bath man!? lol

make sure you have plenty of ventilation in that bathroom otherwise that 1000 watts is going to get hot so hot.

I have semi decent ventalation, there doesn't seem to be a heat problem at all though.

And yea, theres more than one shower. They are in a spare shower
