How do you get 'amazing' quality cannabis?

I see no one has mentioned the Sun. The most potent and amazing weed will not come from any indoor light. Altho you can produce some bad boy smoke, you canne beat ole mother Nature. Fact!

I agree that the sun is probably a great friend making great bud, but here it's just too cold in the fall to do that. But here's my list on how to grow amazing bud (my bud is always more potent that my friend's:
1: Get a superior strain (mostly these are expensive but WELL worth the money) Indica for relaxing - Sativa for creativity.
2: Make sure it's healthy during the whole grow. PH going too much up and down is my worst enemy.
3: Don't harvest until it's completely ready (most trichomes are white/milky with almost no clear trichomes)
4: After harvest make sure to cure in a glass jar or something air tight for a month - longer if you can wait.

I'd say that the one most important thing you can do is start out with superior genes (i have Jack Herer and Black Domina from Sensi - wonderful blend of superior Sativa and Indica).
We compared these strains to several cheaper strains (Nemesis, Durban, Grand Daddy Purple, White Widow) But when testing there was no doubt that the two superior strains were way more potent.

I agree. Superior genes is the way to go.
I'm growing 3 Black Dominas and 5 Bubbas with a NYPD.
The NYPD is part power plant from South Africa.
All 3 strains I'm growing will be very potent no doubt.
I always go for growing the more pure indica strains for that knock out stone!
No time to mess around with ok regular standard your everyday run of the mill
common strains which is what you see mostly for growing. There are very few strains
that are very potent. Since the 70's till now maybe 10 strains all together are deadly enough
to grow for the hardcore grower. This is my take.

it takes a lot to grow the best weed.. you need to learn to give the plants exactly what they want exactly when they want it, and to do this, you just need to start growing first.. perfect temps, humidity levels, and good light levels and the correct spectrums for the required growing period don't come easily for most growers..
most of us start off and do ok for the first round or two, learn from our mistakes, and try to correct them and improve the next grow.. make some more mistakes again, learn from them, etc.. it's a process, and the more you do it, and the more you're willing to accept that you're not perfect and learn to ask for help in where you made your mistakes and what you can do to improve them, then you'll get closer and closer to growing that perfect bud..

Exactly. Time. Keep doing it and do it better and better year after year. There will be lots of hiccups and speedbumps along the way. Look at them at challenges to learn. Patience and attention are key and if you're a stickler for detail, you've got that much more of a chance.
