i hear that weed like to gro in slightly acidic medium,, so my ? is whats is the max ph ? and whats the minumum?, then ...if its say for istance ph 7,4 what will happen?,,or if it was 5.5? what would be the out come please..

im using a mix of 30%perlite topsoil20.potting 40.10% sand... ... and tbh i not worried about my ph. i have it at 6.4. i just anted to know wat happens... cheers neway..
