Grapefruit Haze/Rocklock 400 watt Cabinet Grow

UPDATE week 6.5 (or so) of flower...

hey everyone, decided to do a little update just because its been a few days, im going to parker arizona to party motherfuckin hardy at the river from thursday to sunday so im gonna take my sea doo , fill up the truck with some gas and hit the road day after tomorrow, gonna drench my babies and hit the road so i figured what better time to make an update now and then again after im back?...right?


so since im a week or 2 from harvest and dying to get these new seeds i bought up and running i have decided to just say fuck it and throw the silver diesel outside she gets broken light from 8 am to 10 am and then full sun from 10 am to 3 pm, and then shaded ambient light from 3 to 8...im sure its not enough but i dont care really,lol, this plant has taken forever to flower and now that ive waited an eternity for her bitch ass she decides to flower up these green dry shiny looking buds, no crystals, fuck it... although, it might just do good and produce, now that shes outside she can take as long as she likes...in these 2 pics u can see a far away shot of my backyard and then a closer shot of the plant, she is drooping cause shes thirsty but ill feed her in the morning...

next is the la cheese, she has been acting funny for the last 2 or so weeks, i had some high temp issues up until a week or so ago so i think she has had a hard time rebounding from that, all in all she is still doing really good and the pics dont do her justice, not the highest yielder but ill still have some primo smoke off her...

anyone who has seen or foillowed my thread for the last month or so has heard me talk about this little monster, its the grapefruit haze, she reeks so much and is so sticky, the cola on her is about 12 inches long and 3 inches thick, the side nugs are atleast 4-8 grams each after being dried i would imagine and shes very happy IMO...i tried to get the best pics i could so here goes...

and heres a few pics of the set up with just the 2 plants in the cabinet now...a little bit more room and i kinda like it better, keep in mind i only smoke like 3 rips a night so all this growing is just for fun,lol, the yield isnt crucial for me...

haha welll mayyybe more but i dont get all ripped like back in high school, i take a few rips, check out RIU and kick it and get ready for work the next day,lol....yea man, fuck that diesel, haha, i think the dispensary crossed that plant themselves, just not a solid pheno or geno or whatever they call it...no biggy, win some lose some...

yea nature, im ready to pop those bitches, id do it now but i have to come back from the river first and also wanna harvest these last 2 plants in the cabinet so i can do everything in there, germ, veg and flower...fuck doing it anywhere else, that cabinet is my safe haven bro... i seen ur plants, i already stopped by a few hours ago, i think that g13 looks bomb homie, that stretch isnt bad at all and i personally think its gonna help with light penetration and airflow (prevent PM) later on in the grow...sheeeeit, u know im subbed bro...lol...i know u lovin that fox farm...

I heard that bro. That cab will probably make the difference for real. I'm just ready to c all those strains man. I'm startin to hate greenhouse seeds tho. I tried germing one of their church seeds a while back but nothin. Put one in with the ak48 Sunday, nothin on it yet. The ak is already planted and will probably pop soil tonight. If my ladyburn and llemon skunk don't germ and if u have a time with urs I'm sayin FUCK THEM. U already ahead of me and stopped by lol. Yea man I think it'll be alright with the stretch just as u said bout PM and its definitely helpin with light getting everywhere. MAN I LOVE THIS FFOF TO DEATH BRO! Definitely won't change for a whille.

Hey Maz,

Man this thread just keeps getting better and better... and so do your plants. The Silver Diesel, I know it's not living up to your expectations, but it still looks lovely. A product I've used in the past via foliar and rez additive that you might want to consider -- Humboldt's Own Snow Storm Ultra. It is AWESOME. It makes the trichomes magically appear pretty much wherever you spray it. It's cheap, only like $15/bottle, and you'll probably never use it all... it would be a perfect foliar additive for your Silver Diesel.

Both the LA Cheese and Grapefruit Haze look phenomenal as well. They may not serve up the biggest yield like you said but they should be juicy and taste great! Plus with 3 plants ready around the same time.... you probably won't have to worry about yield.

Also a note on your cabinet. Great little setup you have. The wide shot gives me an idea how it works for you. I wanted to drop a piece of advice that helped me with temperature management quite a bit. In past pages of this thread, specifically when it was hot as fuck here in So.Cal a week or two back (LOL), you hooked up some secondary ducting to pipe in fresh A/C air into the cabinet to help out the plants. I assume you have this on a timer or thermostat of some sort. One thing though, the cool air gets piped in, but then quickly gets sucked back out the light/hood exhaust. You might want to consider hooking up a little extra ducting from the light/hood intake to the right side of the cabinet. That way the light is always pulling fresh air from outside from the right side of the cabinet, passing it over the bulb, and then exhausting out the left side of the cabinet. By ducting in this configuration, the light cooling circuit is closed off from the rest of the cabinet, and the cold air will stay and mingle inside the cabinet for a longer period of time. When I did something similar to my grow area, I saw a constant 10F drop in temperature. If you are worried about light coming out of your new 'intake' hole, just stick a big black PVC elbow over the hole, pointing down/up (or don't, for quicker air movement). It worked well for me because running a 1000w + A/C can get expensive. The less I can run the A/C the cheaper...

Anyway just wanted to pass along some wisdom I've figured out myself. Hope this helps you out. Have fun at the river!!!! When you get back I want to hear stories about how red your face got after getting slapped around by some big-o titties for four days. LOL!!!

hahaha bond, thanks for stoppin in, +rep to you my friend, and i love the advice about the river,LOL...if i didnt have a hot ass latina 110 pound GF id have all those titties bounce me all over the court!lol...but yea man, i didnt know u live down here in the socal, much love... anyways, thats great advice about the air intake and i actually considered doing that but i have 2 thermometers in there, the one down low on the bottom right which registers around 72f at middle of the night (lights on) and the reptile stick on thermomter on the wall (you cant see it in the pics, its up high by the tops) and that one registers 79f at the same time, ive noticed its always about 6 degrees hotter up by the light when they are on... plus since u live down here im sure u have seen the overcast the last 3 or 4 days so ive actually been pulling in fresh air directly from the outside and it has been working fuckin bomb dude,... like 81 degrees max, i can deal with 81 and save all the AC costs, like u said... bond if u can see in the pics that little black fan i have hooked up to the black 2 inch ducting?...that little fucker was 20 bucks and literally sucks out ALL the heat almost exclusivley from the hood, im way stoked, and i like the idea of the foliar spray as well, if i wasnt leaving tomorrow id probably get some, but to be honest im sooo esxcited about these seeds i got that i just wanna pull these girls and clean up and cabinet and germ, veg,flower and do it all over again asap...lol

nbo there is a hole drilled in a piece of plywood that sits on top of my window mount AC unit....it takes up the empty rectangular space leftover when the window closes against the AC.weed is cool but i wouldnt drill a hole in my drywall for it,lol...

UPDATE...hey guys so i JUST got back from the river and ive been dying to pop these new seeds, i pulled my LA CHEESE plant right now and im terribly sorry but i have no camera except my shit camera phone, i could only take 1 or 2 blurry ass pics, im not pulling the grapefruit haze until i get my girl friends camera tomorrow though...so the cheese has a WET weight of 225.7 grams for the 1 plant, i know this will be cut way way way down but the buds are pretty dense so maybe ill get lucky and get a good weight off her, ill update more tomorrow, shower time!!!

update! (maybe the last one)

so i harvested the grapefruit haze and i had a WET weight of 192 grams, everything is beautiful and i took a few pics, i took some yesterday and then a few last night w/ my girlfriends camera, so i just said fuck it and im gonna post them all, hope u enjoy... i guess this is the end of the journey on this grow, im gonna do some lemon skunk, ladyburn 1974, vanilla kush and pineapple chunk next round, im still debating on which ones to flower inside the cabinet and which ones ill throw outside just to have them but we'll see...time will tell....ill post another link on here when im ready to make my other journal...what do u guys think?...anyoine interested?

I couldn't get anothe ghs church and my ladyburn to germ. the ladyburn was a shitty lookn bean tho. Worse luck I've had yet. Before those it has only been 1 auto bean outta like 20 seeds. I still practice with bagseed 4 s&g's. Hopefully urs will work out, I hope so
