Plant ran out of space to grow... Whilst in veg.

Hi first time grower and poster here...

One of my plants has run out of space whilst still in veg. Stupid I know, but this plant is twice as big as the other 3 plants its age (it must have giant freak-genes or something). It's right up by the light, almost touching it, This is in a 6 or 7 ft tall cupboard. I tried topping it to slow it down, but that didn't work. I'm in a bind because I cant really hang the light from anything else but the top shelf in the cupboard...

Any suggestions as to how i can save this plant? Can I try bending it over or something?

Thanks in advance.:hump:

thanks man, i was wondering if it would be safe to do that with an older plant, guess i should i have specified in the first post.
You can do it anytime, it's better to do it in veg, even though you are late in veg you can do it before you flip the flowering switch...

I move my taller plants away from the light. Tie'em down is about all you can do. In the past when I've had this problem to deal with it I have topped some plants twice you can't lose!

^^ that's true too, you can always top more than once, but this can stunt growth... which I guess maybe a good thing in some situations...
