Is it ever too late to switch lights?

So I've got three 60W CFL's on my two plants which are budding but they seem to be developing very slowly...It'll be five weeks tomorrow since they started flowering and they haven't changed much since about a week ago. I plan on going tomorrow to get three 300W CFL's to up my yield and hopefully give these buds a kick start to grow more rapidly. Will this help or are my plants doomed to a shitty yield?

They're fine. I grow under 400w cfl and stems are thick as fuck, nodes are tight as ... well, tight. @ 5 weeks my plants are maybe 6"-8" tall with a dozen nodes. Once they go into 12/12 those nodes will stretch.

Here's some clones I took from under that light, I counted 5 alternating nodes on one clone, not even an inch tall.
