on the order of back on topic i think im gonna order a 600w blackstar soon hopefully within a month or so :) then im gonna buy a bigger tent and turn my current one into the veg room

curly ive seen lots of grows where instead of 1 big ass light they used a coupla smaller lights and got way better results then those using just 1 big light. this is what im gonna thats why i went with the 260 instead of the 500. just wanna see how the PG260 does before i invest any more money

exactly my thought my man thats why im just buyin one but i hear ya im just gonna do it bigger two 600w in a 10 x 10 tent but gonna buy one first and do a run to make sure there good to go for myself

That would probably be a open dutch style barn reflector, who wants to use something like that without having to deal with more than usual heat issues...it's no good saying the cheapest HID is this...look see when it is a shit piece of equipment as far as what's available in closed extraction hoods..
 
hey curly sorry for interupting your thread just makes me mad when you get someone saying they make the best weed here in cali Bla bla bla , an the arrogance gets my blood boiling and to also note years back how a person became a rat pretty fast giving out names cause they were caught now obviously under protective custody least a true canadian is solid and knows to keep his mouth shut if caught

hello fellas, im still thinking about buy lights stuff to try grow healthy few plants. it will be my third time, previous i planted three OG purple kush was killed by high ph (MG is bad !) , pest, and destoryed by kittens. i assured y all that i learned my lesson. I already read all the informations and book by jorge cervantes and put my plant in the secure (closet). so for now i will have good quality soil , nutes, and fert by foxfarm. so im on the low budget and save my bills, i dont want to cause my wife headache with high bills...so LED is for me...but my question is:

LED with 90 watts would be good enough for 2 plants (veg stages) in my small closet?

when the plants start to grow bud , i will switch to LED wholesalers. High Power all red 42 smd LED PAR38 ( at sears)

what y all do think? thanks

I wouldn't buy that. It is like 7 actual watts (at most). So that's $10 per watt. You'll only be disappointed.

The cheapest LED I would consider buying is the 50 watt Blackstar, it's like $90. If you have the room, and the money, get the 240 watt version, I have 2 of them and am quite happy with them.

also i got one full size and 3 12/12 from seed under 100w of cfl just to see how it goes. i got mine from a buddy who bought 12 at once at a good price from china...... beleive it or not im very happy with the performance so far which just goes to show not everything from china is shit but i recomend state side distributors more reliable less wait times and cheaper shipping.

well ill be honest with ya brotha man when that happens i will be sleeping on the couch for 2-3 months haha luckly i got a comfy couch.my tent right now is set up directly beside my bed with no room to spare when i get the 10x10 i will have to disassemble my bed and thus camp on the couch but i dint mind because hopefully the rewards will be great.and the plan is eventually to have two 600w's for the 10x10 after th first run if im happy with the results. hopefully i just move before i have to deal with that shit but whatever thats life haha.

lol, shit thats a pretty big sacrifice for ol maryj bro:clap:. hope everything works out for ya and if that couch doesnt work out id go buy 1 of those air beds at walmart. there actually pretty comfortable just gotta pump it everyday. i slept on 1 for 2 months once evacuating for a hurricane

you made stereo types so I did it in return. hockey sucks!! of course you made more stereo types. I don't know anyone that has an suv. I drive a camry, my brother drives a prius, my mom drives an older benz. you just said more stereo types. no one drives trucks n suv's anymore with how expensive gas is . like i said about the bank because Fannie Mae had the govt backing defaulted loans of all kinds. it worked great for 10 plus years but then went to shit when too many people defaulted on their loans.

fair enough bro ill admit i lost my head and started yelling about suvs and lambo's and what ever it dosent really matter what they spent it on they fucked up and the fact you think it was working great for ten years is the reason you are all in that position cleary wasnt going to well and to begin with my statement wasnt even that much of a stereo type i just said theres alot of famous/ rich people in cali probly more so than the rest of america to the best of my knowledge but anyway lets just stay on topic unless they support leds too lol
