OMG It Actually Sprouted/Countdown To Failage

Hey 4bet - yeah, those low leaves will yellow-out and die off. Don't worry about it though, they're not even split-leaves yet down there. Sooner than you think, those will be buried under the rest as it starts to take off. :leaf:

On another note - it looks like your plant needs some water. I'd give it a good heavy watering until you see it just start to come through the bottom (assuming you have holes in the bottom of that pot). I would say probably about 2 weeks from now, the plant will be starting to get root-bound in that pot, and will need to be moved into your final pot size. I usually ended up repotting about 4 weeks into veg, giving the plants a good few weeks to adjust to the larger pots before going into flower. Don't start any nutes yet - it doesn't appear to need any yet imo. What kind of soil are you using? (sorry, i'm too lazy to check your first post..lol)

Edit:
If I wrote something and moments later decide I jumped the gun, why not just go back an erase what I said? Lol.

Edit:
Well, looking at your more recent photos, I'll say it doesn't look too bad after all. Maybe the yellowing in the earlier set was just a trick of the camera. Yeah, if that is pre-nuted soil, just leave it alone for now and water. Is that right, soil peeps?

But then again, it's growing, but the leaves don't look erect. That's a sign of sluggish cell division due to under-feeding in hydro. Also, that light loosely enclosed by those white envelopes is helping, but agree with another that you should enclose it for real in a big box of some sort. A large cardboard box that an appliance came in for example.

edit:
Since it's just one small potted plant, you could get really creative with a large, sturdy cardboard box and make a snazzy grow box with just a couple of computer fans.

edit:
or you could just plant it outside and let mother nature turn it into a little tree like tommy5669 suggests below.

yeah, thats why i said fuck artificial light and stuck my germinated seeds in a pot an outside, they sprouted popped up, and grew sooooo fast, outdoors is nothing compared to indoors for me. but i guess i varies from person to person and their situation with the enviro around them

The soil that I am using is really bad! I got it from my parents house:

I ended up buying organic soil, this is the only one I can find:

I have not watered the plant yet. I was going to use the new soil/water it but I was under the impression that it was too young to repot, and to wait until the root gets stronger. I also wanted to get some like FF nutes for it. I wont be able to afford any nutes until tuesday which is when I was planning to repot/water the plant.

Should I just repot and water it today? I have an identical pot.
Should I just water it today it its origonal soil without repotting?
Should I wait until tuesday and get a bigger pot/nutes and water it then?

Thanks!

Did you put them indoors after germination?

-Day 21... From the time I planted the germinated seeds.

Some pics that I just took. The leaves seem to look a little weird imo.

Mine were like that too. I believe it's small-scale light stress, but on the plant I did that too, it seemed to have positive results.
She'll turn into such a dense tiny bush you'll shit your pants.

Even though I dont have the Grow Big or similar nutes yet, I am probably going to get a bigger pot and transplant/water it tomorrow. It really looks like it needs water, plus the soil that its in is questionable.

The soil it's in is fine, it does need more water. Keep the soil evenly moist but not swampy.
When you transplant her, bury her stem up until the first leaves.
The underground stem will become root mass.
This also eliminates unnecessary stem mass, that could be beneficial roots, while keeping the plant short stocky and strong.
Oh and I'd back the light off about 1/4"-1/2" further.

Looks to be overwatered and underfed, hope you can get some nutrients soon.

Subbed, good luck, I would like to see how your grow finishes.

Thanks guys.

I had to run around a little today, so I wasn't able to give her water until about an hour ago. I hope the plant can survive. I gave her some distilled water. Same pot, same soil. Will post pics later.

If there is a brand or type of nute that you guys recommend for this stage, let me know.

The plant is looking even worse since I gave it water. The leaves are totally drooping. I'm getting nervous! Will have pics up soon.

The plant was looking really bad after the watering. These are pics from last night:
image_4.jpgimage_2.jpgimage_1.jpgimage_5.jpgimage_7.jpgimage_3.jpgimage.jpgimage_6.jpg

But today by the morning it looked much much much better. The only thing was that it was tilting and falling over, so I propped it up with a chopstick. I hope I didnt puncture like a root or something.

just stumbled onto this thread and i love it! your doing a great job just dont overthink it. alot of growers overlove there plant and to just let it do its thing is the best thing todo. water lightly every few days or so. and dont even think nutes yet. let the nutes in the soil do what they are there for. youll know when it needs nutes. and that wont be for a while. great job so far. subbed.

So, I havent updated in a little while. I really dont want a 5 million page long journal, Plus there were no real major changes.

I watered on Thursday (day 26). On Saturday (day 28) the plant really looked like it needed more water so I gave it more. I obviously didn't give it enough water on day 26.

I really need a proper feeding schedule!!

Okay, it has been a while since my last update. I bought a 1 & 3 gallon smart pot and Dynagro Grow & Bloom. I also got this 3 in one peter that was really cheap. It test moisture ph and has a light sensor.
image_21.jpg

I havent cycled in the nutes yet. I probably will do it my next watering.

I saw some tiny white bugs in the dish that the pot was in. And I saw another bug hanging out on the side of the pot. Any Idea what I should do? I think my soil might be somewhat infested.

I started a thread in the bug section:

Some of the tips are turning red/brown. Even the younger leaves. Is the plant rotting?

Here are some pics of the plant.
