Is there a way to exhaust out in an apartment from a closet?

Okay I have a stealth setup going with a cabinet inside a closet at my apartment. The problem is the hot air being exhausted does a great job oh making my apartment room hot and stuffy. Right next to my closet is my bathroom. The bathroom has an exhaust fan like most bathrooms. I would like to tap into the duct line connected to my bathroom vent but how would I find the ducting?

Also, how hard is it to repair dry wall holes (my apartment lease ends in 4 months and I don't want to pay their over-priced repair charges)

Dude, I don't recommend putting holes in walls on a place you lease. It's gonna be a pain no matter what. You should just get a duct and a fan, and the pump that shit out the window.

you think I should pump the hot air out of a window? It's possible for sure, I just would attack ducting to the fan and run it to my window which is about 10 feet away.

But wouldn't that suck if I am using air conditioning?

Oh ya, which do u think would do a better job of making my cabinet cooler, running the intake to my window (bringing in the cooler air from the outside) or running my exhast to my window (sending out the hot air)?

I like to vent out and let the air room temp fill in the closet.

I was going to have a link to an awesome video that show you how to do exactly what you are trying now, but it has been replaced. I feel cheated. Long story short you wont need to damage your window at all as long as you are careful.

If you get an a/c you will still have to have an exhaust for the a/c. My a/c pumps out a lot of hot air when you turn it down low. You have to vent this outside.

Run two ducts to the window and in and an out. you can use a 2x6 as a new window jam (but keeping the window open the height of the board) Then a pair of dryer vent caps. just paint to 'blend in' Plus you will be getting freah air in there. if your in a city, even more CO2

you could cut a hole like this dude and then cover it with an ac vent cover when you move out. (like the ones in every room on the cieling) no one would notice that it just covers a hole to nothing.

Im in the top floor of my apartment building the hot air just goes into the attic=)..No issues with that I have carbon scrubber on the front side to keep the smell down..the light is allot lower and the plants are going in 1g bags today

Yo, Bamm Bamm. What did you use to slice open your ceiling? Was it hard to do the venting and duct work? I have been angling to attempt what you did, but I lack the technical know-how and the cahones to fuck up walls.

SUPER EASY,.,... I used a kitchen knife to cut the hole in my ceiling because I couldn't find my little saw.. I picked up that sheetmetal hookup at HomeDepot for $8 or something I screwe it in with 4 screwss to sheetrock and then sealed it to the ceiling with that alum tape I use for everything because hose clamps are annoying=).. Took all of 15minutes most of that time was spent smoking a joint=) and keeping my cats out of the room..

Ya I don't think I can do that, I have a floor above me and when I drilled a hole into the ceiling there was insulation and wood in the way.

But bamm bamm I have a question, how is that carbon scrubber working for you? Only 6 inches is awesome.

hey man what kind of watts are u using on that light and what kind of light?? and how much is your electric bill about a month..? j/w im about to get an apt. and do the same thing u are doing. I just don't know if I want to buy a cool lab or do what your doing in ur closet. but how much do u harvest with that many plants? o and u have a sweet low key setup by the way man!!! I was wondering.. are those cylindrical filters that are used in water filter jugs are of any use? Aren't they activated charcoal too?
