Luger ur the same as me .. I thought the pest strips were stick fly strips when I heard about them.. But they are NOT.. Hot shot NO PEST STRIPS are a product that emits a toxic vapor that will kill pretty much all insects on contact.. all you do is turn your ventilation off.. hang it in your veg area and leave some oscillating fans going for air movement to help the vapor spread .. it will kill em all ..It is less then 7 bucks at Home Depot. It is designed for garages and stuff like that to keep bugs from getting in areas that you wont be in frequently .. the active ingredient is used in food storage like Corn silo's ect. It works better then ANY mite product at the hydro store.. The only con is .. I would never use it in flower.. I dont want that vapor on my sticky buds.. But in veg.. there is no bud growth to get coated and the product dissipates in a matter of days.. So i believe it is VERY safe in veg. I use nothing in flower except lady bugs and praying mantis..the only reason I can do that is because the no pest strips and neem prevent any infestations before they ever go into flower...

Always have your pest contained before flower because once buds are present there is hardly anything you can do to get rid of them .. with out growing something toxic.. or having the taste or smell ruined.

Luger I dont want to offend or anything .. Sorry if I am coming off that way .. I just dont want you to spend tons of cash trying to remedy a problem.. I can almost guarantee that if you have had mites in your room for any period of time .. it will be nearly impossible to get rid of them with benificial bugs and organics.. maybe neem if your diligent.. but that doesnt kill anything that might be in your room.. carpet.. cracks.. shoes .. backyard.. car .. ect. If you do the no pest strips.. just use em every couple weeks or so for a day or 2 .. and you will never have a mite problem again imo

the pest strips r cheap sticky traps from the 99 cent store. and im doing outdoor anyways so i dont think the vapor would harm much. i dont even think ill use them cuz flies arent around much anymore

my girls arent infested with anything but spiders and an occasional grasshopper. i just released the ladybugs right now as a preventative. tomorrow i will see if they are still there. they should be since they dont fly much at night. i have another part of my backyard(30ft or so) with a pretty bad white fly infestation, so hopefully this and neem oil will stop them from coming over. i havent really seen any over by the mj

What im talking about is called a NO PEST STRIP.. then you said the PEST STRIPS are sticky.. and they are not.. we are talking about 2 entirely different things.. and its all irrelevant now considering your outdoor. Im just clarifying for others that the NO PEST STRIPS are NOT STICKY FLY TRAPS.. they are a vapor emitting strip. When I originally seen your post about ladybugs.. I thought you were indoor and messing with spider mites.. thats is why I was sharing the information.. because Lady Bugs will Never catch up to a spider mite infestation.. since then you have stated you are outdoor and have NO infestation.. So none of this applies anymore. I just want others to know that NO PEST STRIPS and 99 cents store fly strips are NOT the same thing.

ONCE AGAIN .. I apologize that the information I was trying to share with you will not apply in your situation.. Good luck with your grow

Luger one thing my grandfather and I did for his outdoor was build a PVC framed cage if you will.. then lined it with greenhouse screen.. keeps most pest out.. but lets light in.. Didnt cost too much.. prob unnecessary if you have neem ect.. but he lives next to a creek and the amount of bugs were insane.. now no more grasshoppers or Caterpillar can harass his outdoor.

no problemo man

we actually made a frame out of old copper tubing with pvc over the tubing. we were gonna put tarps around it so i can use it for night time(by moving the plants there at night). we thought the backyard was going to be too bright for night, but where they r now is actually darker than moonlight.

i found a caterpillar today on one of the girls. i put a few ladybugs around em but they didnt do anything, so i just killed it lol

I think if you put that pest strip next to the plant it's gonna work ! Specialy in the morning or eavening when theres is not much wind. Night time too.

that pvc frame with green house netting sounds perfect for me! i was lookin at rolls of insect netting as its called and its pretty cheap.so maybe i will build a big 5x5x5 frame from pvc 1 inch pipe and screen it. will be portable and keep all the leaf eating bastards out. i know they are only doing what evolution programmed them to do but they could eat some other plant instead! stoner insects lol!!
