$$ you tell me what fans to buy $$

hi all,
id like your advice on vent fan's an there configuration (inline, centrifugal, cage fan ect)
ok so a insulated two room setup veg is 8x4x7=225cf an bloom is 8x6x7=335cubic feet

i hate math so ill just tell ya what i was going to buy will it work or not ? why not ?
or what set up would you go with an why ? keep in mind that there is not alot of duct work (under 2 meters for each length of pipe) feel free to work it out for me
so here is my list

veg
exhaulst is 150mm centrifugal fan (440cfm) with 150x500 silencer
intake is 150mm inline fan (400cfm)

bloom
exhaulst is 250mm centrifugal fan (650cfm) 250x1000 silencer with 250x800 cabon filter
intake is 150mm centrifugal fan (440cfm) with 150x500 silencer

good or not ? let me know what you think
for the cost's involved id like to get this right the first time round
thanks for any help

I say just put (1) 400+cfm exhaust fan in each room...Skip the intake's.... Just have a light-proof intake opening somewhere.... those 400 + cfm will pull plenty of air into the room.... And use fans to distrubute the air through out the room....

I hope that made sense..... I just think its a waste of money for 2 400cfm intakes, becasue that is a shit-ton of air being forced into the room. It will be like a tornado in there. and you plants will not like it.

Indeed, I suggest going with just 2 fans to exhaust with, but I might go a tiny bit bigger with the fans.. The reason I personally would is because I used a 400 cfm to exhaust my 4x4x6 foot tent. Your rooms will be a bit bigger. I feel it is better to have an 8inch fan rather than 6 inch for the sizes of the rooms. Good luck bro I hope it's legit

ok passive you guys say i just thort active would be best it gets up to 40+ in summer where i am (no ac) . both fan set ups would be opp'd buy primair controllers
also i dont think iv got enuf room to make bigger intake's. i thort that the exhaulst would be working very hard to pull the air an may become ultra loud thorts?

I personally don't waste my money on those "advertised growing fans".

However, I do have one of the new Dyson 'Bladeless' air foils... yes, its a fan without blades, hence the name 'Air Foil'.

This thing moves a TON of air.. and I use it for my exhaust for now. As for my intake fan, I'm using my 'Commercial Cool' electric air conditioner/dehumidifier/humidifier/heater/air-conditioner. It's a good thing I bought this air conditioner.. as it has all those functions and has greatly helped me keep my grow area temps in check. It also has kept not only my temps where I want them, but its also kept my RH % levels where I want them. It's just like if I were to spend a couple of grand on one of those 'Environmental Control Units'.. and all the other shit you have to buy with it to complete the system. I only paid $450.00 for the 'Commercial Cool' unit.. and its almost already paid for itself because we've had over 28 days with each days temps being over 100`F. It's been over 100`F (plus heat index of 105-110`F) every day for the month of July so far.. plus the last ten days of June, I think thats when the 100`F temps started.. was back during the last 10 days or so of June.. and has continued all throughout July so far.. so yeah, its def. already paid for itself.

My point here is, I highly recommend to those growers growing in these types of conditions, I would highly recommend this unit to all indoor growers located in the central parts of the U.S.A... who are battling these 100'`F (+) temps. It will not only keep your grow area at whatever temp/RH% you want it.. but it will also help cool your entire house. My particular unit, is rated at 11,500 B.T.U. - Which is plenty for my little bitty grow area.

But anyhow, each to their own I suppose. Just trying to save some of you some money..

peace.

You will need cooltubes also. In your amb temp is 40+ in summer maybe have a holiday for 3 months. You will never be able to get temps 24-26(crucial if u want decent harvest) without ac.
