He was killed because he was he was stupid enough to be seen at the murder scene. The reason Gus did it himself was to make a point to Walt and Jesse, and it was a point well made.
The guy that plays Gus is perfect for his role. Scary motherfucker.
yeah i just watched the episode again and gus certainly made a bold statement throughout that murder scene. the actor who plays gus does a great job; no emotion what so ever.

it's a simple if-then equation..... IF lsd is being manufactured THEN someone is getting the precursors.
. precursors exist and are sold on the market, but its SO underground and out of sight that most people think it's impossible to get..... but i assure you..... drug lords bring cocaine in submarines, world class underground chemists creating the worlds supply of LSD have such resources... again you just don't hear about them because these chemists are good at what they do ....the only way to operate is in privacy........ You know who else is a world class chemist in that show? Walter White.
The underground lab would be BAD ass to make L in.... and 1 gram being 10,000 doses..... shit they could make a LOT of doses. I wonder how pure it would be? 99%~ with walter probably.
I feel like the meth isn't a challenge to walter... LSD would be a formidable challenge for him to synth!
