FDD, simple question for you here.
I have noticed that nearly all the drama that is on this site, no matter what it is about, I often see a mod right in the middle of it. Now since they are a mod I can understand that, as it is a mod's job to step in the drama and [hopefully] end it. However, what I have noticed is that quite often a mod is the one that is really keeping the arguments going, or many of the arguments that start without a mod there usually have the subject turned to be about that mod and usually ends up having nothing to do with the OP or even the original starting argued subject. I understand having haters and what not, but I have noticed that a lot of antagonizing happens on a mod's end with simple one-line replies while they lurk and wait for someone to commit an "infractionable" offense (I quote that word because it seems to be quite loose around this site.) I really get a laugh from a lot of the arguments that are started on here because, as many state on this site, they are over subjects that really don't matter when it comes down to it and are just internet egos trying to win a winless battle. I don't understand how a mod ends up in most of these, and is themself antagonizing these pointless battles with seemingly unnecessary responses to bait people into a [winless] battle with a mod.
My question: How does a mod continue to find oneself in constant [winless] battles that seemingly are started by said mod?

my "one liners" most often contain a very valid point. i try to "playfully" enforce what little rules we have here. i really never do get "angry" here. my humor is hidden is sarcasm. i imagine each thread as a room full of people chillin' and passin' a doobie. i physically visualize this. once the room gets tense i try to change the "tone". it is often with witless humor, sometimes directed at fellow members. something i would consider "razzing", or just "poking fun at". it's when it becomes "mean" that i feel things must stop. after 50,000+ posts here i have a pretty good feel on "what comes next". you will most often see me BEG people to stop, because i know what happens next, they don't. i locked threads because i "know what comes next". then a new thread gets started over it. it goes on and on.
the battles are not "winless". "true troublemakers" are banned. 6 months ago this place was nothing but trolls. i think it's pretty mellow nowadays. sure there's some "drama", but i think in all, we're having a really good summer.
i wish people could just have fun.
how could anyone call anyone here "ignorant about growing"? we all came here to help and learn. we were all "ignorant" at one point. weren't we?
can i be a mod and a member?

That's a good explanation of how you interpret your posts, thank you. I have noticed that a lot of things now-a-days are mis-interpreted since one can't express tone over text, which most often lead to pointless battles. That being said, you can most definitely be a mod and a member, but unfortunately for you, when you agreed to be a mod you agreed to know when to distingush the two. Maybe this is just me mis-interpreting your posts but I tend to see a lot of "razzling" posts followed by other "razzle" posts that fuel many of the arguments here that could possibly be avoided. Again, like I said, this could just be me mis-interpeting some of your mod posts for "razzle" posts, I am high so that could be quite easy.
Not trying to tell you how to do your job or anything, just hoping to find out how to take your posts and kind of pick your brain as well. I'm a people watcher in the real world and brain picking is as close as I can get to that on the internet.

Just to point out, mygirls' actions led to fdd paying attention to him. Mygirls' thread hip hip heray (he misspelled it) got closed down. Unfortunately, mygirls brought the attention on himself. In my opinion, fdd is just here to make sure he is still behaving. But that is just my take.
take all my posts as if they were bullshit, most of them are. it's an internet grow site, how serious can it really be?
all i want is to see people growing mass amounts of gooey nuggets. the rest should all be FUN.
someone once told me "you have to realize, the internet really is all some people have". i can't condemn those people for this, but i often overlook it.

so off to the clubs i go is what he is saying i means is i am selling to the clubs.. NOT,,,,,,,,, i had 5 clubs here were i live last year and i donated (gave) each club one lb each.. with the deal that when and if im ever out i can come in and get my meds for free.. when and IF i ever need some.. and why am i so down on the clubs cuz im sure im not the only grower that gives his meds to the clubs for the to turn around and sell it.. not right and not cool.. im here to help out other medical patiants and the clubs are here just for $.. 250.00 an oz. for patiants what the fuck give me a break, thats just moraly wrong

I have come to the conclusion that I do not think Mygirls is NOT from the US. There is no way anyone past the 6th grade can have that bad of grammar, and spelling. I came to this conclusion when in a post me meant to say "it's sad", and typed "its said". Either he really is a special or he is a border jumper LOL
