its only 6 weeks into flowering and i was wondering was it done yet or should i wait a couple more weeks ....or is it atleast close to being done?? let me know ...check out the pics

i use fox farm nutes....grow big and big bloom...

I would let them go another maybe week... those hairs are looking pretty red, keep an eye on them and give serious consideration around monday/tuesday.

you can't use the pistils as your gauge as to when to harvest. the only way to accurately know when to harvest is by the trichomes. the last couple weeks of flower is when they really pack on weight! it doesn't really look like they're doing much at this time. but this is when the buds are filling in those hollow spaces inside. get yourself a dope scope from radio shack, so you can get a good look at the trichomes.

From the looks of the top cola's they look almost done.. However everything under them looks like they need a week or two more.. Pretty fast at 6 weeks though.. are the buds dense or light and airy, and for personal interest...what lighting are you using? - STELTHY

the only way to tell that is by harvesting, lol. you really don't want to be squeezing and damaging your unharvested buds. they'll prob. feel a bit hard when squeezed on the plant. they're still full of moisture, and this can be misleading. that's why you want to check the trichomes.

naw the buds are kind of hard a little biit but like you said the bottom buds still need to sit for a while and im using a 400Watt HPS with a cooltube

yea i check the trichomes everyday with my microscope and some of them are amber colored and some are cloudy but then again some are clear.

i would push it to 56 days at least i run my kush to 76 days under 10,000 watts
