Removing Excess Calcium?

I am growing outdoors and in the ground. I ended up adding to much dolomite in the soil and now having a nutrient deficiency. I thought that dolomite would wash away after a thunderstorm like other nutrients and didnt know that it stays in the soil. Is it possible to remove the excess calcium and magnesium in the soil? Could I flush it away if I ran the hose for 24 hours? Please help, any advice is appreciated.

It's pretty much in there and doesn't wash away. Forget the 24 hr hose thing, you'll just drown your plant.

I really question if that's a problem or not. The reason being, I've grown stuff (not mj), in pure crushed limestone before, so .............

Just how much dolomite did you add? More importantly, what else are you adding? I just have the feeling that something else is causing your problems and the dolomite is getting blamed.

I added about 2 pounds of dolomite to the top of the soil and mixed in about 2 pounds of dolomite when I dug my holes. The only nutrients that I have added are 10-30-10+Kmag, Miracle Grow Bloom fertilizer, and about a 1/4 cup of Azomite. I have another plant that I fed the indentical nutrients except the extra dolomite and it is doing great. The reason why I added the dolomite was because I thought that I had a calcium and magnesium deficiency in that one plant and I ended up only making things worst.

Are both plants the same strain? Just curious here.

The Azomite shouldn't affect anything, I use it also. The MG I have no experience with. What is the Kmag part?

The plant that is giving me problems is a Super Lemon Haze and the other plant is a Rocklock. The MG Bloom nutrient content is 15-30-15. Any advice is appreciated!

The SLH is a sativa dominate strain, yes? And RL indica dominate?

If this is the case, you might want to cut back feeding the SLH. A lot of times, what is barely adequate for an indica will burn a sativa, if you are feeding the same amount for each.

These different requirements are why I very seldom run a sativa dom and a indica dom at the same time.

Thank you for the advice. I didnt realize that indica can handle more nutrients then sativa plants. I havent fed the SLH since I started to have problems but have fed the RL, so at least I am doing that correctly.
