DWC round 1 Area 51 Kush grow journal

This is a grow journal for my upcoming dwc grow i just took 6 clones of my outdoors Area 51 Kush plant. Area 51 is a strain i developed my self it grows pinkish purple hairs instead of white hairs. But anyways i have a 18 gallon dwc chamber growing 6 plants. i have them under 6 14 watt cfl bulbs. i want to upgrade to a 400 watt lighting system soon but that might have to wait till the next run. gonna run fox farms nutrients with superthrive. pics to come tommorow, and possibly a video. sub up because this is gonna be a good run +rep to anyone who posts or gives advise! 1st time hydro btw lol

oh man how s DWC treating ya now? i was thinking to get one real soon but i have to research first before i buy :p so i think your setup should be easy and smooth...so im gonna sub ya up !

thanks man i wasnt able to get any pics today but ill get some tommorow. if you have any questions on dwc i can try to help you. the dwc seems to be working out perfectly

Sorry for the lack of pictures I've been busy the last couple days. Today me and my brother went shooting and cooked up about 5 pounds of carne asada. And yesterday we drank a little bit to much. Haha. Tommorow morning I'll upload the pics before we go out and do more shenanigans. The clones seem to be taking well. Hopefully we will see some growth soon. I plan on begging for around 2 weeks before flipping the timer to flowering. Hopefully tommorow we will get the new cab out. And HOPEFULLY be able to upgrade to a 400 watt hps for round two. Oh and as for nutes right now I'm using about half a table spoon superthrive in the whole system. I'm also gonna pick up some better airstones to put in so we can get some serious bubbles.

Edit: a little backstory on the area 51 it's GDPx??? If anyone has experiance with grandaddypurple let me know because to be honest I have no idea what it's crossed with haha

Dwc is a good way to go man, ive never had problem with mine. As long as the roots can touch the water and you got air pumpin in you aint got shit to worry about.

Thanks man! That's why I chose a DWC as my first hydro build. Only costed me 5 dollars to set up! Haha already had everything except net pots rockwool and hydroton.

Nice AR-15 btw. Looks nice what maker is yours? I'm planning on starting a custom build AR soon.

I'm along for the ride.
Yo those 14w bulbs will be good until they are about 6" tall. Then you should switch to about the 26w-40w range for a while.
That will keep them good for quite a while.
Maybe get that 400w in a month or so.

I like fun grows like that... I also have that same grinder, I got it with my vaporizer.

I have an easyvape V2. It has a whip and a bag filler. Sharpstone makes a great 4 piece grinder. and I just saw the other day, they now make them with clear lids on top!

Sounds badass Stoney! No real progress so far given the fact that I made the thread the same day I took the cuttings. But hopefully we will see some nice growth soon.

damn ive been neglecting my thread. im just waiting for these clones to take off and start growing fast. i replaced two of the dying clones with seeds of something called jackberry. never heard of it before but was offered seeds. also started two bubba og seeds so got a little strain diversity lol but i dont really have pics of the grow today gonna have some tommorow tho for sure. but for the time being heres some of my outdoors starting to flower
