too bony for my liking, although i like the taste.

these will most likely get given away in a year or so as we will be moving to an as of yet unknown location.

backyard chickens and birds are very common around here.

thats cool, that reminds me of when i was a kid growing up on the ranch, we had a ton of chickens' and those eggs were the best!!!!! ive only had duck once, but down here we enjoy quail and white wing dove a lot!!!

i like to use a trap we make and that keeps them lead free, lol!

And a kiddie pool. That way the duck can teach the chicken to swim, just like Ellie Mae Clampet's chicken in the cement pond.

And they are little straight-faced comedians. The Buster Crabs of the avian world.

i had no idea ducks were so comical.

no kiddie pool until they get big enough. i have a shallow tray for right now, and will graduate them to a paint tray when the time comes.

i need to build a duck area now. i plan to half bury a 55 gallon drum sliced in half for their pool.

the wife is ecstatic.
