greenhouse have a bad rep when it comes to fems.all the fems ive ever grown have never hermed.youve just gotta do some research on whatever fem strain you wanna buy before you by them.theres plenty of reviews online.i used to only grow regs because i was worried about herms(eventhough regs can herm too)but when i got some fems as freebies,i grew them and they were all female.

Fuck, I hope they don't all hemie. That would suck!!
Were you growing indoors or out? Don't know why they would hermie if you were nice to them and sing them lullabies and stuff like that.
Not that I do that
UH UH not me

Ive used fems for years (as well as regs) and only ever had a few turn hermie, funny enough the ones i do remember were some GHS beans so i dont use them anymore. Plenty of good fem seeds about just stay away from GHS.

I've hd one fem autoflower herm on me. But i put it through mad stress so i expected it. my last 2 fem autos is/were hermie-free. Fem seeds might hermie easier than regs, but you can take steps to avoid it. Minimize stress and you SHOULD be good

I've heard countless people bitch about nirvana genetics (herm issues). I stick to the strains that have worked for me. I've ordered from Dutch Passion, Short Stuff, Sagmanthra, and Sweet Seeds. Every fem seed I've ordered that has germed (roughly 75-80% germ rate) has been female. There are other extenuating circumstances that can lead a plant to herm, especially photo period plants - screwed up light cycle, light leaks, messed up nute cycle, stressing a plants root system - to name a few, but yes the genetics of the plant can pre-dispose a plant to herm. If you get the right kind of feminized seeds they should perform as advertized.

Probably just depends on how serious you want to be about it. For me, at the time I was just getting starting growing indoors, and was just looking to get my feet wet. One thing is that Nirvana has a nice selection, and EXCELLENT customer service. And I mean they are really good about their customer service. So imo it just depends on what your goals are. Nirvana is priced really well for what you get.

Now I have quite a few seeds from that hermie, and have been popping those off into pots while the weather sucks so I'm still growing. My next seeds though, I want to get seeds from Dr. Greenthumbs as I want some Sour Diesel and have heard good things about their seeds. But they're probably 2-3 times the cost of Nirvana.

So, I think it just depends on how serious you want to be about your grow.

By no means do all fem seeds hermie, actually it the right conditions none hermie, also quality of seeds is key... some people choose seeds without any real info on the strain and lots of bad breeding can cause hermies.

Remember the lower the stress the plant ever deals with the less chance a plant will hermie... keeping temps steady, correct watering schedule, not over feeding, and again I state kee the HEAT down, heat is #1 stress to create hermies.

i haven't had any plant hermire on me, and I have stressed out/burned some plants enough to cause stress related hermieism (a new word)
but i have seen "nanners", which Ed Rosenthal seems to think are normal and from what i know of plants in general, i do too.
they come very late, like two weeks b4 harvest. it's not hermaphroditism. it's cannabis, the annual, trying desperately to MAKE SEEDS, because that is what it does. it doesn't return the following season. it's not perennial. it knows it will die

Over the last two years I've order several times from Dope-seeds.com the customer service has always been top notch, good selection, and they always toss in a couple free seeds. The only thing lacking was the shipping time, which can be expected from the UK to USA. It has taken up to four weeks to arrive but the good news (for me at least) is they always have arrived and performed as advertised.

What temperatures are we talking about when we claim heat stress? My first grow has been in temperatures as high as 109 and as low as 68. However, she's spent much of her life in 78-88 degrees. Feminized autoflower seed. Still fem today. From World Wide Seeds.

I would say that when grown in decent enough conditions... all feminized seeds tend to female.

1 - It depends on the strain because some are more prone to turning hermi.
2 - Bad luck and or bad genetics.
3 - Some strains just aren't ment to be feminized.
