I've cured a few oz's and it can be a pain, does anyone know how to pros do it? Like the people in Humboldt? Do they use jars to cure 500 lbs of bud?

must bulk growers hang dry till crispy then use trash bags for large cures....open the bag a couple times a day for a week or two....then seperate into huge pickle or mason jars....thats just from what i've seen .....some people even use giant rubbermaid tubs with holes drilled in the sides...

But you're supposed to keep the container air tight during curing.

yo dog i have used tubs for years 30 gallon rubbermaid with seal grips fill em halfway stack em and open eachday i buck them off the stick when the small branches snap. the little bit of moisture in the phattys helps even it out to 50% and if i cant get it all trimmed i will cut all big leaves cure for a week to 50% humidity, and store in turkey bags that get put inside a vac sealed bag this is important cuz even turkey bags tied off leak gas but inside a vac bag they are ok and the turkey bags are easier to handel cuz you can open and close them without a vac sealer
i have had to run six dehumidifires at once off a 6000 watt genny just to get the nugs dry and used dessicants to keep them good + ALYWAYS check for mold before curing !!!!!!

a fish tank would allow light in....you want darkness when curing....light and heat degrade the thc

How would that be any different than the light that passes through a glass jar? You're supposed to keep your buds in containers in a dark climate controlled environment.
