Really explode i hope . They are smelling a lot now. Sucks waiting for the hps. It is shipping from the other side of the u.s. wont be here till Friday most likely. Hoping the week after i get my hps ill setup my screen. Cant wait!. I love weed.

Looking good dude. The way you LSTd makes it look like one of spider mans webs hahaha. Gonna sub' so I can see how much the HPS helps, been thinking about getting a 150 or 200w to help out my CFLs too.

I might get a high wattage hps with the money I get from my first grow. Hoping for at least $200 20/g ( the usual for heads in my area ).

That HPS light on top with your current CFL's on the side, your plants are gonna blow up. I'm excited to see the outcome. Let me know how (if at all) the temps change. I'm interested to see. I've heard that CFLs put out just as much heat per watt as HPS, but then others say CFLs are cooler. Let me know.

Ive been told that a 6 light CFL setup, with PC fans and all running uses less energy than an actual computer running. So I guess it would be like running two computers? Correct me if Im wrong someone.

Plants need co2 .. easy fix My yeast and sugar mixture. Keeping it by the fan.



Not sure how long it will last. I used about 1 1/2 cups of sugar and 1 pack of yeast. Filled almost half that bottle with water. This should be a good week for my babies.

the average home computer would use around 1-2 amps maybe a little more under full load. my 150 hps uses just over a amp itself, add some cfl's into the mix and some fans and i would say it would be between a computer or two running. what you were told seems to be correct.

Its awesome i think. i have't got to the screen yet but being able to control a plants growth this much is cool, with the lst and soon scrog, i dont think ill ever go back.

So far the lst is going good, i will most likely keep this same setup. My first female got way to tall, these will be half the size. 18gal bin lst plants from one side to the other then setup my scrog screen. Going to be crazyness

I want to clear up any confusion on the subject.
Morons out there tellin' you that you can't LST until the plant is big..
Stuff like that.
Remember to include the chemical change in your LST routine.
The tallest branch tip grows the most. Get them to all be the exact same height in the air. Gravity-wise.

Thx for the info. Yea i have to move my cfls to be able to get to all of both my plants so i can start bending more tops. When my hps comes in I will dive in and see if i can make everything level. I did have a few questions. Main thing i wanted to know is if i could cut some of the fan leaves out so i can get more light to the smaller tops?? Not sure if it will hurt anything.

Don't cut off fan leaves.
I like to weave plants alot.
Just fold the leaf between a branch or something to get that top above it.
If you really want to increase energy to top branches, cut off little baby branches as they appear on the sides.
If you get the new branch as soon as it appears, it won't stress the plant much at all.

thx, stress is no good . I have only clipped off a couple small fan leave that were laying in the dirt. I still have't been able to get to all my larger plant yet, have to move the cfls, ill get in there tomorrow and start bending stuff back. I am lsting a little different from most people. I have the string in place and i weave the plants through it, i guess i can add some more if i need to. Ill update more pics tomorrow after i lst some.

I noticed that HighLife. I think I am going to LST a little bit different. I plan on cutting hangers into pieces to make individual hooks. Sorry my intruding but I thought your suppose to LST the main stem after like 2 weeks but I see it very different in c.indica's thread.

You can LST almost any plant, at almost any age.
I LST'd a seedling, and buried a 6" seedling stem under the dirt.
The plant turned into literally the densist plant I've ever seen, ever. But it was a male.

You can LST any branch or even leaf on a plant, as long as you know WHY you are training it.
Always have a goal.

First of all, patience is key. Lots of people fuck up grows by chopping early. Just let it finish, and it will get you really high.
If you have a week or two, you shouldn't be flushing it.
I'd say flush during the last 5-7 days. If you'd really like to get high, smoke a resin bowl. Or just spend the night sober, and enjoy it for what it is.
I highly recommend that you never cut a leaf off of a plant, unless it's dead or dying fast.
Leave the big fan leaf, especially if it's healthy.
Chopping it now will lower your yield and overall final product quality, you won't get very high off of a leaf, and you will regret it in the morning.
You me and hundreds of others have been there and done that.
Not worth it.
Fold the leaf underneath the bud, or just leave it.
Your plant needs leaves to feed it's buds.
