Nirvana Autoflower Northern Lights

Thank you for the kind words! Those are my first to successfully auto-flower,

My first NL Autos were autos, my second NL Autos were autos, and I expect my newest NL Autos to be autos also. My first batch was during the 'complaint' era and Nirvana sent me some NL Fems even tho I didn't complain! ... 1st class act....
This latest seed buy of NL-A...the seeds are fairly large compared to most...and popped in 2 days....Anxious again to reap the rewards of a nice strain...

I agree, Nirvana took care of my previous non-autoing autos and were more than generous. Plus, I switched the lights to 12/12 and both strains (Blue Mystic auto & Jock auto) provided amazing meds.

I must add that your Lost Chord avatar brings back memories...

Both of my Northern Lights are now showing little white pistils everywhere. The new NL's are indeed true Auto's.

I'm on 20/4 at the moment, I may drop down to 18/6 though once my 600W HPS comes. What are you guys running?

Im running 18/6 on mine, i started out 17/7 for the first few weeks then added in the extra daylight hour last week

took 40 days to show sex? That does'nt sound like an auto, im growing these straight from Nirvana, let's see how long it takes for mine to show sex, ill come with an update soon, shouldnt be to long, first ones on day 21 from seed already

Yeah it took about 25 days for mine to show. They did show under 18/6 though.

is that purple or mold on the budds, in the photo it looks like you have spots that appear brown....

That was just poor lighting. I took it pretty quick and that was from a cola that I had harvested early to test smoke at around 10% ambers and forgot about that dried out, but wanted to include it in the yield lol.

As for the smoke report, I gotta say for an auto that didn't show too much promise (not really frosty) it was a pretty heady smoke. Not knock you down couchlock but fairly strong body, mild cerebral. That's just based on one bowl, single bud off main cola, via bubbler.

they are for sure autoflowering and when i open the box there is a bit of a skunky smell already, but both plants are just runts, not even 4 inches tall..kinda worried im not going to get but a few buds off of them tho..i don't think this is the strain, but more me being a noob grower and making multiple mistakes. Ones i hope to correct/avoid on the next run in a few months

Like I said (I think), mine did much of their growth at week 4 and beyond. Keep their roots happy, they grow so fast & furiously, the roots need all the help they can get to maximize the above soil growth. So far out of 3 plants, I have only one that looks like any type of quantity producer, but time will tell.

I was very happy with my grow. I'd say if you're looking for an auto it's the best I've grown. I tend to let my plants veg extra long, so I plant a few autos and a few photos, I switch to 12/12 when I harvest the autos. And these are pretty much perfect for that, by the time I harvested the last plant it was around 65 days from seed with a good yield.

How well do you think they would fare outdoors, with a well drained soil and plenty of rain?

Hope to see some new picks soon. Have to do outdoor growing and have been thinking of making this my auto pick for next year's grow. Hope yours turn out well or mabey i'll start looking into other strains. Hope they grow really well for ya Hank!

my dinafem fruit autoflowers and my barney's farm PEA showed sex at around 14 days, my PEA's are about 40-42 days from seed and i say they got about a month left. sept 11 is harvest day.

Last year I got 10 regular Northern Light seeds from Nirvana. They were pretty bad. First, a disproportionate amount of males, like seven out of ten. Of the other three, the best looking one turned into an extremely aggressive hermi, which I chopped. The remaining two were going along pretty good, but suddenly got bad mold. All in all a pretty bad experience for me. I was able to salvage some of the bud, and it wasn't really that early, but it was weak. This was all in soil with an HPS in a room which has never given me mold problems before.

You're talking a different strain. Nirvana NL autos aren't being sold as regulars that I can find. Plus this is the new strain, the last auto strain that had problems they changed it up.
