Whats up guys. Man, its fucking hot outside. I mean, HOT! People around here are actually starting to report that their house foundations are starting to buckle and crack.. so yeah, that should give you an idea of how hot it is around here.

We've had almost 30 straight days now.. with every day being 100'F or higher.. with heat indexes each day, being from 105 all the way up to 115`F!!! 115`F!!! I mean, you step outside and its like you can't even breathe.. and it almost feels like your skin is literally burning!!

If your in the central U.S. right now.. you know what I'm talking about.

Thank God, I bought that 'commercial cool' unit this summer... phhheeeww! It's already paid for itself twice over. It's kept me cool and my environment cool. Thanks Commercial Cool!

It's 80F here and it's night time, It's hard keeping the temps down in the grow room, currently it's about 92 in there :(

Man... my temps are bad (27 oC/80.6 F) and that's outside temp, even with my kick-ass fan on my room is 33oC/91.4f. And my Res is nigh on the same ..... fuckin weather ..... I WANT SNOW !!!! - STELTHY :leaf:

yes sir! I bought one this summer.. and boy am I ever glad I did my friend.

It's called 'Commercial Cool' 11,500 BTU unit. It's a dehumidifier; humidifier; air conditioner and heater rolled all into one unit. It's bad ass man!

and for $400.00 - yeah, you can't beat the price..

This things bad to the bone my friend! It's got a digital LCD display on the front.. that works just like your thermostat in your house.

Def. worth the money.

My grow area right now.. is right at a cool 78`F with 38% RH. I can keep it there 24/7 if I want too.. ;)

I highly recommend this unit to anyone that's currently suffering from this incredible heat wave.

I remember a few years ago.. well, about 6 to 8 years ago. I was working for the local Honda/Mazda dealership and it was fairly hot that summer. I mean, we didn't have these 110 or 115`F temps.. but I think we were around 100`F that year. Anyhow, I showed up for work that morning.. parked my truck.. which at the time, I had a 2000 Dodge Dakota, all black with 20" chromie chromes on it.. anyhow, I parked my truck.. and I shit you not man, around 4pm that afternoon.. I was changing the oil on a customers car.. and I suddenly hear this 'PPPSSSSHHHHH' sound, and I knew it came from the area I parked in.

Well, about that time.. my friend Draper, the service advisor, says "hey Mike! My dude, your entire windshield just shattered!!" I was like, wtf you mean, "my windshield just shattered?!?!" I look out the bay door.. and sure as sin, my windshield fucking like, exploded from the heat!

I think it was a combination of the fact that the truck was black.. and I had my windows rolled up that day. Which in return.. didn't let any of the heat/pressure escape.. and once the pressure got big enough.. the weakest link, my windshield.. decided to let some of the pressure out.. via explosion. Actually.. I think this was an 'in-plosion' (spellcheck please).

But yeah, in these temps.. make sure you leave one of your windows cracked just enough to let the pressure/heat escape. Otherwise you could end up with a shattered window/windshield.

it's hot here too. it's been hot since i woke up at 9:30 or so. it's usually not hot that early here. it's a bit sticky too which is out of the ordinary. groooooossssssssssssss

110 here..... all day.... gets down to 85 at night LOL

I ride a motorcycle....... but I'm not now, it's impossible! LOL my bike overheats at every stop light... I have to wait until it drops under 100.


My tomatos are not liking the heat either

My apartments foundation is definitely cracking... yesterday it was 113F, my old AC unit was BARELY putting out cold air even at 65. There is cracks all in the edges of my sealing from where the foundation has moved.

damn, it's only upper 80s and am complaining lol.

my tomatoes died. i think they got a disease or something.
