?? Happy plant but i've no idea what strain or anything

Anyway here is an update. It is now day 11-12 of flowering. (or flowering again, as this has been found to be a re-vegged plant) I did'nt know that when i got it. And for the future i am making plans for shipping or a ride to Toronto to buy proper seeds. Anyhow for the meantime here are dome pics from 7:00 pm today.--------------------------------- elbow stuck on --lol

By the way, since all the growth is on a horizontal plane( i bent it 90 deg.) should i trim off all the skinny growth, new stuff and leave the thicker established stuff that is already forming the canopy.?? The very bottom is clean but new growth is forming along the sides and stretching up and gets thick and blocks light.

It's nothing solanero did wrong per se. The plant just came in a bad way.

I think here would be a good place to give my lecture on number of leaf blades and its relation to plant vigor. Different strains have different levels of vigor, of course, but of the more vigorous cannabis strains I have grown, I have seen a twelve bladed leaf. It's an odd sight as the leaf has no more room for more blades, so the new blades grow inward at the center of the leaf... completely maxed out on blade space... Has anyone else seen this? I've seen eleven and twelve bladed leaves in some of the pix by other growers here at RIU as well.

This is directly indicative of the plant growing to its maximum genetic potential. If you have seven to eleven bladed leaves, you're doing really well. Conversely, if you have three and fewer bladed leaves, you have a plant operating well below its genetic potential and moving into genetic inferiority / deformity. Absolutely not a plant you want to multiply by cloning. Cloning is a meticulous process not to be squandered on deformed genetics.

While i appreciate your help, i might just see what happens, you know, being my first time and all. Also i have seeds on the way for next time-I'll post every week or so and please le me know what you think... Good or Not so good o.k.?

Thank you CanAbuss, thing is this plant grows a lil different that others so not everyone likes it ya' see? Here's a pic of the underside. and my ?? was should i trim away some of that skinny stuff that doesnt do much. Mind you it has been flowering for 8-10 days approx, so maybw i cant kut, im not sure,. Its got a nice canopy though , i think. the bottom branch shot might be too ddark too see well-see what ya think

lord, your trying to hide your inexperience with big words. its not working.

the lesser bladed leaves are from stress. after topping it grew those.

O,k, so just leave it, no problem. Not trying to hide anything ,i am inexperienced , its' just the way i talk. Sorry. Yes, i clipped the growth nodes or ' the growy bits' at the ends of the branches to slow her down( so now they look funny, i'm thinkin its' o.k.) But the good news is i now have plenty of 5 bladed leaves which were not there before! Wow, that took alot longer to develop than i thought,...maybe stress too huh? Actually this plant has a pretty laid back life,..." i am organized, and wizout problems!" as my Granpa used to say. I wonder where the stress comes from?? i don't allow t.v. and it gets to bed at regular hours... okay, NOW i'm full o' shiet!!

I'll hafta count back to get a true date when flowering was started, but i notice it seems slower than i would expect, perhaps because this plant is re-veg. Anyway i tried to pull the branches (gently) apart to get light penetration ,seems to be working. Although it makes her look huge. i guess it really is larger than it should be, but so what. Here's a pic i just took, will take more soon.:-P

P.s. I'm not really in any hurry to finish this, it's more of a learning experience. Y'now..." You have to walk before you can run" (i 'm not even standin up yet ) Lol :clap:

Forget all that, i started on july 28 th, so like 9 days.??

I just thought of something, and could be important. When i got this plant it was in a 3-4" pot , so i transplanted to , well a kitty litter container, biggest thing i had at the moment. Anyhow the container says 7kg. (dry weight of course) i measured it out to be like 8 litres, which is just under 2 gallons. So , i'm thinkin it wont be big enough for the whole life cycle. It does'nt seem to be bound at the moment. I've checked the bottom holes, but it prolly won't be long. Any suggestions?? Is sooner better than just before it becomes a prob? I'm only into flowering 10-11 days, so sooner than later? Should have already been done but,...noob ahoy. Well, at least i did think of it. I'll wait till i hear some feedback, i have time , i think.

Thanks buddy, i'm enjoying this lil' project. I found a 6" cooltube online for cheap so i'm going to add that and a 6" fan as well. Now, that i've gotten a better eye for what is right and not-so-right , i notice i have alot of stretching going on and that will improve the next grow. It's coming together piece by piece but i started with 1 cfl and an already flowering clone. So all in all i'm happy with progress. Nice bud by the way( yer pic) Hope i do as well. Peace:peace:

yea i started wit cfls now have 600 hps 400 hps 400 mh 2 grow tents fans and lights out my ass dam this shit is addicting lmao any way learn alot from the guys in the the forms you will learn for your self who is full of shit and who is not.just cause its there way or my way you will find ur on way dam thats deep and i have not smoked a thing lol

Well said. There is a subject that would like take forever to discuss properly. Since politics and weed rarely go well together, i'll stick to the latter.

BTW i see what you mean about getting a feel 4 who really wants to help,knows their stuf. For the MOST part everyone i've deal with has been right on,(ya, i'm from the 'right on' generation) , a few know -it- all and therefore better than you types but still well worth the time to learn from. I'm trying to be positive. anyway i'm an ass sometimes too, so who am i to judge.

Any help is welcome . With the plant ,that is..:roll:

After re- reading my above post , it makes me think that i should'nt judge anyone by the responses they give. After all they don't know me and i don't know them. I also realize that there are some extremely talented growers here and they have become that way by paying special attention to all the details that a new grower might miss. So, along comes a guy like me, with a cavalier attitude towards something another person takes very seriously and they see obvious mistakes that noobs make, and i does'nt take much to hurt someones feelings or change their whole outlook about growing or the sharing of knowledge.
It occurs to me that i am rambling ,so i'll shut up now and roll another.

Nice pics she is looking fine in about a week hit her wit some bloom boost and the molasses on the next watering mine jump up on it they love them some molasses tea :}:}:}:} peace and popcorn
