A couple of hours ago I had an interesting conversation with a young lady who is in the Iowa National Guard. She just returned from Iraq after her deployment. She is here in D.C. to talk to members of congress about veterans rights. Its refreshing to get the news from people that actually know what they are talking about. She said;

"Do not buy into what you see on the news", "It's not even close to as bad as the reporters would like you to think it is". "Democracy is being restored" (These are foot notes people). She went on about how she is disgusted with the way the MSM is hoping we lose this war." HOPING WE LOSE THIS WAR, this is how our soldiers see the media coverage. And I agree with her 100% becaseu as a vet I see it the same way.

It was amazing how similiar our views were, but then again I hear this same sentiment coming from a lot of the veterans I talk to. Its almost as if we think the same. Its almost as if the MSM is reporting agenda or the status quo as suppose to the news. But, thats fine. You have your version and I have the truth. And I am pretty content with the truth.

If the chinese invaded and overthrew our dictator who has been continually killing us and maintained a constant state of a fear, i'd give them a thumbs up.

Especially if the chinese were working very hard to create an infrastructure where we could have free open elections and train our military and police to combat our wacked out brethren.

And especially if a chinese soldier is caught looting or raping they are put to trial and probably discharged.

Or if the chinese are giving us supplies with food and water because we are to afraid to go to the marketplace cause it might blow up.

i recently talked to a guy who was in the army special forces when the war started, he is now working with the state department, and is working over at nellis air force base while hes here, but he went on to explain to me that sept 13 2001 they were sent to afganistan, where they actually did do some counter terrorism, but when they went to iraq there were no al qaida until later, and went on to tell me that their job was to pretty much to kill and blow up targets. yes weve built a few schools and made some things functinal to use, but i sure as hell wouldnt go to school if people were dieing around me. anyway i think its pretty evident that this war flat out is not for us people but special intrests, the intire world is against us should we not listen to our once allies? france fought with us during our revolutionary war, we are driving our selfs to the ground.

But I do give merit to the peoples opinions that did fight there including my own. I was there she was there a lot of my friends were there. Were you? I've been wounded here in our country multiple times and lived through sheer hard work dedication, physical and occupational therapy that far surpasses any army boot camp (have you ever tried to pull yourself from a wheelchair as a quadreplegic?) thats hard work tough guy trust me on this

I've survived a severe broken neck (C5-C6 one crushed vertebrae and two crushed discs)

Brain Damage (multiple times due to car accidents and a severe beating by a gang of men),

epilepsy due to that brain damage

And severe nerve damage due to 2 car accidents and a gang beating that left me nearly dead. i've cheated death 4 times total with medical records to prove it

I worked hard to get to this point...it took years of gruesome physical and occupational therapy to get to this point. I worked everyday hours a day to just walk again let alone use my arms and hands and fingers again
