If you make it great they will pay more.
You either make or break ya weed when it comes to drying and curing. And if ya never done it before, then for 30 bucks you can get the calibre 3 hygrometer. A small price to pay for perfection. IF you have a good yeild and quite a few jars to cure then id defo recommend getting one. You say about profit etc but you F up the dry/cure then ya weed s gonna be mediocre Bill! Bringing down the value of your buds massively. Hit the dry/cure spot on and you'll be in the money so to speak if thats your goall.

Harvesting when the buds ripe will make the end product a million times better af the cure, if your harvesting early or earlyish then you can cure it all ya want it will never be the highgrade your after. So if ya thinkin about harvesting for the first time, theres prob a good chance its not ready yet. Altho it maybe hopefully.

Any white hairs sticking out still?

oops just noticed those trim pics... looks like its been cut bit too early my friend. Very much doubt your gonna get the bad boy highgrade ya after, after the cure. Its a learning Curve for everyone so good look in the next one.

The pictures are terrible quality so it is quite hard to see but yeah I believe I chopped a bit too early. As said, if there are no seeds people around here consider it heads. I was hoping for the highest grade I could make it but it was my first grow/harvest and will be my first cure. Live and learn. My next fast bud that is almost done flowering I will give optimum time. Today it is about as far as the fast bud was when I chopped it down but I'll give it another week or two!

Remember, the beginning of the harvest window is when you have 80% milky white trichomes and 20% amber trichomes. The end of your window (when potency will from there on start to degrade and be a VERY hard body high, almost knockout high) is when you have 30% milky white and 70% amber. Most people like somewhere in the middle for a nicely even balance of the two kinds of highs. Hey, i like to clip buds at different times for MANY different highs! Reward your hard work by givinv yourself a good variety! It's nice to smoke a more milky white bud with a more uplifting high during the day, and then hit up your more amber body high to chill out at night. It's pretty much like having slightly different strains to a certakn degree when you do this. Just remember to seperate and label the differences when doing this, otherwise you'll be stuck with a mix of unpredictable highs haha. Variety is the spice of life brotha

Damn! Never thought of that. My first harvest will be more energy and the next will be a knockout couch high =) Letting it get to almost 90% amber.
