Came home to find my 6ft plant murdered!!

So i was out doing errands for a few hours then i come home to find that the two dumbass great danes that we have, had tore up the soil and ripped a 6 ft plant out of a 65 gallon smart pot. This plant was not in the main garden so there was nothing protecting it.

Six month old plant, would have had pounds on it. Yesterday i worked on it for 2 hours supporting all the branches, pulling off all the dead leaves and lower branches.

I cant even begin to express how i completely feel about this whole situation.

The plant was potentially worth $1,000s

I feel like a parent whos child has been raped and murdered.

Fuck great danes.

but i did learn a valuable lesson

Put fencing around all plants.

Ya if it was my dog i would have just gotten my self some new fertilizer for next season . I feel your pain bro. Just had a 5'5" Bubba Kush go hermie 3 weeks in flowering got a 8ft tangerine dream next to her dont think she got pollinated didn't c much bananas on the bubba kush just a shit load of nuts.

they ripped apart the roots and the soil all around the base of her.


i found her leaning over with just the main root ball left.


just had the funeral. smoked a couple bowls in her honor and reminissed of better days.



ya these great danes have tried to atack our other three dogs 4 times in the last six months and even tried to bight a 2 year old kid a few months back. two weeks ago one of the great danes (they're sisters) had our oldest dog by the throat an was shaking her aaround like a rag doll. At first i was too shocked to move but a second later i grabbed the great dane by the throat and dragged her outside. If i wasnt home the other dog would have been dead for sure. my girlfriend and her sisters would not have been able to stop her.


they're my girlfriends parents dogs and these people have no idea how to set boundaries with their pets. I'm just sad that my beautiful plant had to suffer.

to anybody who has ever held the mangled and withered remains of their hard work and love murdered by something stupid!! it is very horrible.
know that you are not alone my friend. 2 weeks ago my sister drowned 2 18' plants by "watering our tree" and leaving the hose on for 3 DAYS while i was away. a lot of nutes wasted trying to revive, until sadly, they were both pulled out of their misery a few days ago.
so far this season 3 sprouts eaten and one flowering plant mangled - good lesson in making a fence.

Man that's awful. The worst my cats have done is nibble on the leaves. I know exactly what you mean about not setting boundaries. My inlaw's Lhasa apso and boxer almost hAd the same experience. And my plants are indoors and In a cabinet

if they were mine they would have never turned out the way they did. i have no control over what happens to these two dogs, i've already told them the dogs are dangerous. but does anyone listen to me????

Court costs are the least of your worries - how about a mangled child on your conscience because nobody did anything about these violent dogs?
Don't get me wrong, we have two loveable dogs but years ago I had one that did bite a child & I put him down. I refuse to take any chances after they show me that side.

yup i agree completely.

my ladies parents are oblivoius, they think that the dogs are just acting out cus their pups.


these dogs know no boundaries and the other animals in our house live in fear of these animals.

its just sad these dogs could have been great animals but they were raised with no boundaries being able to do whatever they want, bark rediculously, jump all over the owners, run rampent in the back yard tearing shit apart.

they've never been disciplined.


mark my words within the next six months something is terrible is going to happen becuase of these dogs, whether it be them killing another of our pets, getting out and attacking a random person walking their dog, or even attacking me or one of the other people i live with.


once again if this was my house these dogs would be gone.
