oh yeah i was thinking about hydrofarm kit, they sell for under 60 dollars, but im worrying about run the power bill high that my wife will trippin out anyways i have two seedlings (from bagseed), one is outdoor, and one is indoor, under CFL in my living room..no huts at all...also today i just feed them, their first nutes of floraduo a & b formula. i heard its great nutesShe's looking good Silversun. I would recommend the DWC all the way!! I've been doing it since my second grow and it is simple and effective. All you really need is a ppm meter which can be had on ebay for about $15. I like the GH flora nova series, easy one part formula and i think it's more or less organic too.
The plants grow bigger and faster, i use the bubblemaid system. There is tons of info on RIU or if you want any pointers let me know.
Cheers

whenever you re done with your project with Heineken mini key DWC style, please post with details because i would like to make one too ! thanks.Yeah Hydrofarm is good stuff, but I think I will end up making my own 3 plant DWC out of a Rubbermaid/Sterilite ~18gal tote. All you need is a few net pots, rockwool, hydroton, air pump and air stones. Should be a fun little project. Speaking of projects, I'll post up another one of my projects later today, its a moonshine still with wort chiller made from a stainless steel Heineken mini keg and some stainless steel tubing, haven't finished it yet but its just about there.
Again thanks for the complements and suggestions guys, its much appreciated.
Thanks for the suggestions! As for moving the lights down I already have a solution for that. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0053P1FPQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A1THAZDOWP300U I'll be using two of these to move the lights on the left and the right down more. Glad to know it wasn't root bound thanks. When I started this grow I was totally new to feeding, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I thank RIU for that.Great job,
If I could offer any suggestion it would be to move your lights down
to surround the middle of your plant on all four sides.
Your plant is not root bound, don't overthing growing. Not everyone is stricken with every problem, and when it comes to a plant being "root bound" Think of it this way, if you can pull the plant from the pot, hold it like a baseball bat, swing, and knock someone out with it, then your plant is root bound, if not, no worries. Feed your plants the correct way and the correct amount, and most plants do fine in even a one gallon pot, and sometimes even less.
I didn't read, or don't remember how long you plan to veg, if longer then more topping
is always an option.
This pic is a plant that is two months old (a cutting not from seed) in a two gallon pot, topped multiple times. She will grow her whole life in the two gallon pot.
Here she is today too.
Although i've seen the concept in small reading lamps, I've not seen just the extenders, that looks like an ideal solutionThanks for the suggestions!
