good evening fellow growers, tokers and smokers :p . Im just curious as to the level of difficulty for growing out TGA seeds. more specifically plush berry, agent orange and querkle...

I only have one indoor grow under my belt so im still learning to say the least. so i need a strain thats pretty forgiving. . these 3 strains from tga seem to be really nice and i hear nothing but good things from them, but hear nothing if they ok for "noobs".. any input is much appreciated

I've not grown any of those, I haven't heard any problems with them. I know many grumble about the slow groth rate of Querkle, needs a long veg time to produce well.
I've grown Jillybean which was easy and has a wonderful taste and high that have made it my all time favorite strain.
There's a whole thread of Plushberry grows (probably my next TGA strain too) here: https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/398941-plush-berry-picture-thread.html

Easy, the germ rate is excellent, the female to male ratio is close to 3/2 per 5 pack, ive gotten 5 fems out of a 5 pack, strains are usually sativa/indica hybrids leaning more sativa with really early flowerings like 7-9 weeks. top grade stuff but a little average on the yield, some strains yield well. check out the guys website.

I think subcool's gear is top notch

Ive grown Vortex, Sativa/indica hybrid that grows best if you fim it, and let it grow as a bush, better yield and more resinous buds. distinct mango lemon smell from its Spacequeen parent and the trippy heady effect of appolo as well.

Jillybean is a medium-tall plant that grows beautifully as well, smells not strong in veg at all, almost like some citrus incense, or velvet/lavender. come flowering it stretches a bit more than the vortex to about 4-6 feet outdoors, good to fim this plant and make moltiple colas. very stable from observations after stressing mine they didnt hermie on me. smells like orange candy or silky orange funk. the high is upbeat, happy and antidepressant, imagine a perfect strain to counteract anxiety or depression.

Chernobyl is serious, probably going to be my favorite strain of all time, i got one that started stinking at 2 weeks from seed and its an absolute beast of a plant, i saw female preflowers today so i'll definitely write a smoke report for this strain, smells like citrus and sweet skunk. mine is only currently about 3 1/2 weeks from seed and 1 1/2 feet tall in veg. 1 fim or top and the lowers fill out completely.

I got Pandora's box going as well, and it's showing some really nice smells in my room, like kiwi-mellon. perfect indoor strain, it looks sativa from the leaves but its stocky and grew alot of nodes, all of my pandora's are fim'd for height and look great, i have 1 at 3 1/2 weeks that already has 16 colas after multiple tops/fims. it takes abuse really well and doesn't stop or show signs of stress, also a good feeder, doesn't get nuteburn easily. first time growing this strain and its tied with chernobyl as the most impressive tga i've seen. I heard that this is happy weed like jillybean, except this has no ceiling to the high, unlike jillybean where you kinda stop getting higher. makes this extremely appealing to me when i wanna wake and bake.

I'm with the others. TGA stuff rips, and I've never grown plush berry but I keep the original black cherry soda in my garden and its a pretty easy attain to grow. In regards to the querkle comments you would expect slow veg growth after all its got Urkle in it

Great Info guys.. That's exactly what I wanted to hear ! And as for the yield comment, that's not as much of an issue as potency/appeal/smell/taste (over all quality) . . The high yield will come in higher number of ladies :)

As of now I'm gonna stick with my original 3 strains. Plush berry, Agent Orange and Querkle (in hopes to get a good purple pheno) ... Again Thanks for the input and quick responses !

I've grown the Plush Berry and Agent Oragne, and love both of them. I'm only a couple crops in so by no means am i a master grower. As far as the 2 i grow, i've foudn they need to be topped multiple times. As far as "ok for noob's" i'd say hell yeah they are, with great results. I love both of those strains...the plush berry is by far my fav i've grown out, aside from the Chernoble

Other than Querkle requiring longer veg time, I have to say TGA Subcool seeds are the most trouble free seeds i've ever grown. The Flav grows so easily. Vortex was ease. Everything i've grown from TGA Subcool has been easy and strong to grow.

Pretty much in agreement with the others. I had 100% germination on Vortex and Pandora's Box, Vortex grows slow as well but a little extra veg time is all she needs and she yields big..... but as far as the strains you asked about....I have only grown Jilly and it was very monstrous and easy to grow. Pandora is still sexing but TGA so far has treated my grow room very well :)

i started 5 plushberries, 2 weeks ago. All 5 seeds popped and are doing great. They are already bigger than my strawberry diesels that are 2 weeks older.

Yea man I saw your grow journal. I actually found it the other day and posted on it. haha. Those Buds look absolutely beautiful my friend . Were those ladies more sativa dominate? I saw you said you didnt harvest until 11 weeks.

Lovin my agent orange that im growing right now, jilly was also a joy but shes a stretcher alright and needs to be trained into multiple cola heads, however even if you dont do that she yeilds like a mother fucker. The AO is a bitch to grow sometimes not because it needs a special nut regimen or anything but because during veg it stacks up so fucking much that i have to trim out 50% of the REALLY big fan leaves about every other day. It grows FAST FAST FAST, during flower it stretches out hard and you dont have to worry about light penetration or air circulation as much as you do in veg, im only in about week 3 or 4 and its going quite well. Not supposed to pack on the weight til later but im glad it worked out great in a scrog environment because of the massive amount of laterals this bitch shoots but like i said it can be a pain in veg because all its stretching really happens in flower. Flower this one earlier than you would think. I did mine a week early and i feel like i still should have knocked a few more days off of it it stretched so much. I love this plant its stinky as hell and sour like a bitch i think i may have sour whiskey pheno but ill know for sure after finishes budding. Have fun with AO im sold on all of his strains now im probably going to buy most of them before i start looking at other companys for seeds again..
