Regular vs feminized seeds?

Looking at getting Snow White and New York Power Diesel for 2 mother plants. Its the same price for 10 reg or 5 fem seeds, I plan on growing them all and picking the best one of each. Just wondering if there's a reason I should go one way or the other?

If you are planning on keeping mothers I would get the regs because of the hermie trait that may be involved with the fems. JMO

it's all up to you and what breeder you're going with.. if i'm not mistaken, i think snow whites a nirvana strain.. if i were to buy nirvana beans, i'd go with their regs over fems as they seem to have some issues with their fems as well as their autos..
if it were another breeder such as dna, dr greenthumbs, sagarmatha, g13 labs, or some others, i have no problems going with fems, and i've yet to have any hermie plants come from a fem seed..

IMO

Fem= consumer grade seeds
REG= bee's knees.

in a perfect world, it would mean that they were guaranteed females plants straight from seed, but since the genetics required to make feminised usually required herms for pollination either naturally (weak seeds) or from stronger plants that usually need chemicals to do the job like colloidal silver.

Hermaphroditism is an amazing thing for cannabis on a survival/evolutionary point of view (even regular seeds have the genetics to hermie) but for growers and smokers its a pain in the ass an waste of time especially if they ruin your harvest.

Wow, thanks for the explanation. Regular seeds are definitely what I want then. Not dead set on the ones I posted earlier, what I've really been trying to find is Sour Diesel but can only find it mixed with another strain..
