that's good because 3 days is about the length of time you can eat stuff before it's unedible :)
Hell, at my last workplace we'd give everything a minimum of a 7 days shelf life 10 days for a good amount of it. 3 days, lol, it's still as good as it first came outta the pot at 3 days :D

I often leave my leftover dinner on the table near my bed so that when i wake up hungry and hungover the next day there's always something at hand to eat :) absolutely anything so long as it's not chicken :)

Now that someone has mentioned spoiled fruit, I am going to make a Greek Salad for lunch and dinner today. I don't want my vegetables to spoil or to get too bad to use. I hate throwing away food. Sometimes fresh fruit and vegetables are bought and you forget that you have them and by the time you think about, want or find them they are beyond being edible.

Hehe, no piss bottle for me, i've great contorl, despite drinking 2-3 pints of water through the night as i wake up ever hour or two.

If you've spoilt veg, just cook with it, soup is the best option imo :) Soup is good.

Salads are rubbish :p Gimme a chunk of flesh any day :)

Piss pots, plates of leftover food bedside? :spew:
I will continue to get out of bed and walk to the toilet 2-4 times a night than to have a pot of piss next to my bed. I pray for strength to be able to get out of bed and walk...

i would never take food into the bedroom.

i once shared a duplex with a common bathroom with a dude who ate on the toilet. i often found his half empty cereal bowls on the bathroom sink.

My bedroom large and so is also my lounge so it makes sense for me to eat there. Not sitting in the dining room with a pizza staring at a wall :D I'll sit in me chairs watching tele or such ta :) But yeah, eating in the bathroom is a bit minging.

Oh hell yes. Have you ever fried up a batch of Lasagna from the night before or enchiladas? Yumm. I usually put on a huge pot of chili and pressure some beans and we eat on that for days. You can make burritos, enchiladas, huevos rancheros, refritos (refried beans - made with cheese, garlic, chili pequin, butter, and pepper), etc. It's cheap and delicious. The beans are an excellent source of protein.

I also make a mean roast marinated in coffee and vinegar. You cut slits into the meat and insert garlic and onion pieces. Marinade overnight and then cook in a cast iron dutch oven. I add potatoes, carrots, cherry tomatoes, pearl onions. It lasts for days and the meat just falls apart. You can make a tasty gravy from the marinade.

I also make a huge batch of salsa. The longer it sets the better and hotter it gets. We use it on eggs, tortilla chips, nachos, quesadillas, tacos, breakfast burritos, etc., etc.. The list goes on and on. So, yes, I am a big fan of leftovers. :p
