was wondering if it was possible to clip the buds off of my headband plants and reveg them so i could start cloning this strain. thanks for the advice
I had a White Widow that was 7 weeks into flowering, snipped off a bud and cloned it. It took nearly 2 months to root and start putting out new growth, but it worked and I've been running that same Widow for over 2 years now, so to answer your question, yes, it's definitely possible to clone a plant that is in late flowering.was wondering if it was possible to clip the buds off of my headband plants and reveg them so i could start cloning this strain. thanks for the advice
I don't think he wants to reveg the entire plant. It looks like he wants to take a clone in late flowering so he can continue to clone this variety. It is possible to do this but either way, revegging can take a long time and requires a good deal of patience.Leave some foliage/bud on her, up can her ,trim back the roots, put her in a small pot where she can grow out more roots and put her under 24hrs of light. I heard 18 hrs of light will work too. I like to use 1 ml superthrive plus a heavy dose of seaweed or mild veg solution per gallon of water for the first watering. You should see some new weird foliage growing in a week or two. Crop early because new growth during reveg tend to stretch in my experience.
True. The further into flowering, the longer they will take to root and put out new foliage, but I've taken cuts right up until harvest day and gotten them to root.He didn't even say how far along he is.That would help.
