Calcium Deficiency. Need help!

Listen guys, I dont have pictures and I am NOT going to post them - it takes too much time and I already know FOR A FACT that I have a calcium deficiency. I've diagnosed this through multiple sources and have come to the conclusion that I have the calcium issue.

What I need to know is how can you cure a calcium def without money. I am 100% broke until Friday until I get my damn check I dont even have 5 bucks to spare to go grab something.

Is there ANYTHING around the house, a fruit, a vege, dog shit - anything that could help give my plant calcium for the week in order to sortof delay the degradation until friday afternoon??

Thanks for your help I am scared this will ruin my plant.

Ps the plant in question is 6 weeks flowering.

lol! I've talked to tomato growers who use a crushed up tums watered into the soil to cure blossom end rot (Calcium Deficiency). My suggestion would be to wait until you get paid and buy a quart of cal-mag. That's one nutrient every cannabis grower should have in their toolbox.;-)

How much longer do you have?Your at 6 weeks ya said.Might just have to eat this one andput it in as a learning experience.

if you cant get the cal-mag soon..wich is the fastest working best option..get some oyster shells or sea shells..wash em..grab a hammer and crush that stuff as fine as you can..toss it in a gal jug of water and shake like crazy..this will break down some calcium right away making it water soluble.
that will give it a faster working cal dose. the rest of the crushed shell, well just use as a top dressing on your soil(if growing in soil) and its even safe to put in a bubble bucket if doing hydro

To fix a calcium deficiency you can treat by foliar feeding with one teaspoon of dolomite lime or Garden lime per quart of water!!! Or you can take crushed up dolomite lime or garden lime in a gallon of water and water it in the soil. 1 to 2 teaspoons per gallon of water!!! That would be the cheepest way i can think of... Good Luck

Epsom salt for cal mag def, 1/8 to 1/4tsp per gallon. Are you running reverse osmosis? I had a cal mag deficiency once, it was my hard water out the tap, it was too much calcium out the tap causing lock out. I bought a RO system. Done deal. If you're running tap water its hard to believe you don't have enough cal mag already. Also at six weeks in bloom, leafs tend to start looking bad. A lot will die and fall off, as long as its lower growth I wouldn't think too much about it. They'll grow.

Well its not okay because its the upper leaves and barely any of the lowers so I know there is a big issue going on - ps whats this backyard lime stuff your talking about.

I always water with brita filtered tap water that also sits for 12-24 hours in the grow area to lose any chlorine it has and to heat up to room temp. The water isnt really the issue, at least I dont think - They've grown for nearing 3 months with no issues as of yet and it's been the same water reg. Like I said though I think we are straying from the topic here I am not looking for a diagnosis I have substantial evidence that its a calcium def.

What my original question was is " I dont get paid til friday which means I cant buy ANYTHING, what ways around the house can I use to cure a calcium def?"

I am very interested in the shells and have already ground up mad shells and shook the water for a long time. There is still shell powder at the bottom/ floating around but I assume u only need the microscopic particals to be water soluable and get soaked in by the roots. I am awaiting any results and they probably wont show for a day or so.

The buds are still growing properly and getting fatter every day so if worse comes to worse I lost 2 weeks or less on flowering and I just take the loss and harvest before the plant actually dies. The other plant I am growing with it is going absolutely FINE with the same exact water/nute schedual as the other.

PS the one in question is topped, the second one isnt. I am starting to think thats why it has a cal def and the other doesnt.

I don't know of any thing around the house that will help.

And why would topped or untopped have any thing to do with a nute def?

What would be a decent way to check the calcium in my tap water?? If there is to much calcium in the tap water, could it cause the plant to lock it out and also cause the looks of a calcium def.???Like two weeks ago Our La OG looked like it was having a Calcium problem, so i was told to get some Cal/Mag, so i got some!!! Now im thinking what if my tap water has to much and now im even adding more!!!

That stuff is very slow acting and would do him absolutely NO GOOD at this point in his grow.:cry:

You could use a simple TDS meter, which would only give you an idea of how hard the water is, not just the Calcium content. You can get a report from your water company (these are sometimes posted online). Too much Ca in your water can indeed cause problems.

You close to a Home Depot or Lowes?

Go to the hot water heater/water filtration section.

Water test kits good for 2 uses $10.Good kit to do regardless of having a garden or not.

Thanx,, im going to check up on that because if there is to much and now im adding more im fucked!!!
