How long can a seedling stay in a small cup?

I want to get 6 seedlings but due to a few not making it due to newbie watering error by me it means I got a seedling thats over a week old and one that just broke dirt. what are the negatives to the fact that my 2 SSSDH are in my little cup with foxfarm and have 3 sets of real leaves? WHat bad can happen if I wait to put this in dirt so all plants are ready for the MH? I don't want to put the 2 SSSDH up first and due to their sativa makeup they could stretch too fast for the little ones to catch up.

So, any reason why it needs to be put into a normal container before its too late?

Nice thought but a late seed may never catch up? The more soil the faster bigger it grows. Put wantta be big plants in big pots! Live and learn every thing goes in ground early next spring!!

Oh no, they will go into pots, i'm in Hawaii and we can flower year round outside. I just don't want to put the SSSDH in pots because of their sativa and have them get so big that by the time my little plushberry which just pushed through the dirt goes under the light, it will be raised too high and take forever to catch up.
