So I've been wanting to settle down for awhile now and I finally worked up the nerve to ask the woman I want to be with if she will marry me. I'm a little worried she might not take me serious or that she might say no.

I'm worried she's playing games with my heart, and maybe she's not ready to settle down, or maybe she's already with someone or maybe she's been hurt in the past. I guess she might be a little apprehensive about marrying someone she's never met or maybe she doesn't want to leave her country and come to the U.S.A. i'm not sure maybe she's just overwhelmed and excited that I asked but she just didn't seem as excited about the idea as I am, it was just like she was thinking about it but I had kind of thought she would just say yes and get on the first plane so we could do it in vegas, We will see what happens I guess, I'm going to smoke one and then take the rest of the night to think about where this is going.

However nuts the whole scenario is, I want to congratulate you for you sincerity. There are too many men out there who want a woman for five minutes of their lives until they get boring or they find someone who can cook better. Before more guys come and discourage you for wanting to get married (in general) I want to let you know my apprehension is only because of your specific circumstances, not because I'm bashing you wanting to marry.

I don't know this girl or if she's worth it, but thank you for making a woman out there feel like you want to hold her for more than just a minute. I'm still waiting for the question over here XP...
