My main question is this: Can I use Advanced Nutrients micro, bloom, grow when using Fox Farm Soil! I can't really find info on this. I don't want to use any other soil so please If you have input on this would help a lot.
Please don't say Advanced nutrients Is only for Hydro because its not, If you don't believe me check out their site.!

From advanced nutrients Web Page!

well i will say this little bit of advice, i've been reading, a lot, like college studies, pumpkin growing, tree growing... anyways my point; plants grow the fastest and biggest when given half strength nutes(900ppm-1500ppm)... and K should always be the highest nute; it controls water uptake which other nutrients are totally dependent on. plants grow the slowest with the smallest leaves when given the lowest and highest amount of nutes(300ppm-2500ppm). i know ppm isnt a direct measurment of nutes but its a very good indicator of whats going in

referances: cannabis botany version 2 and the grow bible. (also giant pumkin growing... something)

You bet you can! I have been using AN for over a year now with great results. I rarely run full strength on them because they are fairly strong nutes, but I have had some strains that took all I could give them as well. Honestly I don't think I have ever run over 1600 PPM in the last year.

I'm usually up to like 2500-3000 ppm by mid flowering lol I know sounds crazy but my bb strain loves it

you could add the nutes, i wouldn't cuz FF doesnt say what they're npk is.... but i would love to see your results!! i would only try 1/4 strength to be on the safe side... im sure any more would cause burn. also i've heard comparisons on here and they say AN isn't as good as they claim, no hate meant brother i just want to help in any way i expect you to do the same for me. i wish someone told me my mj plant did not require a fruit smoothie for nutrition when i first started out. give me a heads up when/if you try though. im thining FF probably has more N than anything so watch what you add. N + more N = burn or lockout :/

Most any nutes that are suitable for mj will work with FF OF. I use this soil with Flora Nova nutes.

But, FF OF comes with nutes in it which means you dont give nutes for a week or so after planting. Also, the nutes in FF OF are too strong for seedlings. Seedlings should be planted in a seedling mix or in FF OF mixed with perlite (I use 50%)

Thanks so much guys for that advice....Now since I am using soil what should the mix be with 1 gallon of water. Now If the bottle says 4ml to 1 liter and there is are 4 liters in a 1 gallon, how much would you actually start feeding your plant! Do I just start with 4ml or 8ml at first to 1 gallon of water or just go 16ml! The advanced nutrient web site is saying to put in 16ml to 1 gallon but I think that would be a mix for hydroponics. Advice please, will ++REP you for this help!

I always use 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended dosage, and feed every other day.
So I can start with 4ml, if no nute burn just work my way up until i see nute burn, then back off a tad and I should be good! Now how true is this PH perfect Stuff. I really don't have to use my PH meter?

ya sorry i forgot to mention you won't need food for the first 2-3 weeks depending on how hungry your ladies are

Did you just plant your ladies in the FF? If so don't use any food yet, it they have been in there a while then I would say you can.. I usually start my advanced with 1.5-2 teaspoons per gallon, and if you add dolomite lime to your soil before hand you'll never have to worry about ph

Just want to post another opinion on this subject. I have been planting seedlings in FFOF for years. I've used it with over 20 different strains. I have never had any negative results with this soil when planting any plant in any stage of life. Respect

With nutes too much is far worse than too little. People usually start with a low dose and work up to full strength watching for signs of nute burn.

The younger the plant, the milder the nutes have to be. On my Flora Nova nutes it gives the concentrations for full plants, young plants & seedlings. Seedlings are 1/4 full strength. I start with half the seedling strength and work up slowly.

As was said above, with FF OF no nutes for the first two weeks.

Go slow with the nutes

Not to argue but I have about 40+ plants that I have started in FFOF without any issues. I just do not add nutes for about 2-3 weeks from when they are put in the soil. My process is the papertowel germination method, taproot directly into 3 gallon pots of FFOF. Not one seedling has died on me.

Well to be honest, I myself have never tried straight FF on seedlings. I have heard this advice repeatedly and always followed it. Since I like to transplant several times, its no trouble to mix the first pot with perlite.

I agree that FFOF is for sure a hot soil, hotter than most but I think it does a really great job with the amount of nitrogen in it. Plants need N for growing so I just figured why not... Now there have been times when I have accidentally used nutes a little too early and burnt the shit out of my ladies but not once has the soil let me down.

I also used advanced nutrients and outside of my own mistakes I have not ever had an issue with this.

Ok, just too clear some things up! I have used fox farm soil a couple of grows and and I have not noticed any nute burn from the soil when the plant is a seedling! I know that I have to wait at least 4 weeks before adding nutes. I ask all these questions because this would be the first time using advanced nutrients, period, and feeding schedule is not that great on the net. My last 2 grows were Fox Farm Trio! So interested too find out what these nutrients will produce me when its time too harvest my WHITE WIDOW seedling!
