why not use some foggers? i understand that some of it will just dissipate out in the air, but i bets most of it would stay under the canopy of the plants. wait until it's not to windy and chuck a shit load under the plants!! yea, there will be some poison released but that will all be gone by time you harvest.... I'd go for it dude!!!

I have heard of foggers but haven't seen them mentioned being used outside. I don't see why not other than releasing a cloud of gas into the neighborhood. LOL

slide a big garbage bag over them for a little while fumming them.... that would trap it in. not sure if a garbage bag would fit over your plants though.... but even if it's the top half, it would be better than nothing!
