HID Question

Ive grown with cfl's and im now looking to try something new.

i believe these lights would be good for what i need but i want some advice

i was thinking the 250w for 9 plants? or 400w, im open to all suggestions.

That's mot a lot of light for 8 plants. Lot of money for the light I think. Why doncha just pick one and go with it. Ya really feel the need to experiment?
