One of my afghani plants is showing def signs of being a male. I grew these from seed and they are 7 weeks old and showing sex 5 out of 6 female and 1 male. My question is will this male if kept under 24/7 produce pollen. Ive been told yes but find it hard to believe and cant find answer so im asking. I would live to gather some pollen for future back crossing and some crossing strains. I just dont want it in my flower room just in case ( have some pretty budding ladies in there) and nowhere to build a one plant flower room. May be a stupid question but hey arnt the only stupid questions the ones not asked? thanx guys

No wuestion is stupid. But decisions are another matter and taking a chance of infecting a perfectly food grow and possibly many in the future with latent pollen would be stupid on an epic level. Just my opinion though

If you can move it outside, FAR away from your girls. Then, be careful to not bring any pollen into the growroom on your hands or clothes.

How will you store the pollen? I dont know if you can freeze it or what....not sure how to keep it viable.

Do whatever, but get it away from the girls immediately.

yeah, that way you don't infect your grow, only mine. Thanks in advance for that. Really appreciate it!!
