ive heard good things about doing a darkness period b4 harvest... only like 2-3 days of darkness tho.. it stresses the plant out.. creating more frost. but honestly.. if u dont want to do it its fine. IMO i dont think it will make that much of a difference... i mean wen u 1st start flowering... u can see how long it takes for trichs to actually start forming.. and and how long it takes for more adn more frost to come... it takes a while... soo i mean in 2-3 days... how much frost can actually "appear" in 3 days ya kno? it just makes it ripen up a lil more.. but i dont htink u woud notice a real diifference if u did a side by side comparison.

lol now im reconsidering the darkness thing. its gonna be a down to the wire decision on this one

hey stevie Grace is looking great thinking a fine yield a cumn! about the darkness thing good news! I tried the darkness method for 72 hours on the LSD, There was certainly no trich increase, maybe a tiny bit more resinous but mostly just a lot colder- first time i felt my plant feel like she was proper dead, was like checking a pulse, lmao sober moment followed by butchering with scissors.

is it just me that gets emotionally attatched to the plant I get a little sad when its dead lol by all means give the darkness thing a shot my friend that told me was growing a lot longer than me and he always does it. Say do you think leaving the light on 24 hours and increasing heat and decreasing humidity would actually work better? I mean thats when a plant goes into overdrive to protect itself; im sure there is a reason why it wont work though lol. Anyhow home staight now GO GRACE GO!

Oh and didnt you say you were having a kid m8? Hows that coming along? =)

yeaa mann. its up 2 u. =) ur grow.. it wont hurt to do it..... honestly. if ur really not that sure... maybe u should cut down 1/2 of it... (or even just a branch or 2) and start drying that half. and then give the other 1/2 a few days in darkness... and then try to compare the results... see if it really makes a difference? =)

Its not just u guru, I'm pretty attached to grace(I mean I gave the girl a name and everything lol). Yup, I got a baby girl on the way. She's due on Oct 10th but by the looks of my girl looks like she can pop any day. Thanks for asking. Hows the no smoking til harvest working out? U still going strong.

Hey thanks guys. So I take it u have a kid(s) of your own natureafinest? I plan on having at least one more, maybe in a few years from now though. And yea Joey its a pretty bold statement saying ill get 3 ounces from grace I know. But I've seen people say they've gotten 3 zips from plants way smaller then mine. I just hope they weren't lying.

I think ull get 3 no prob bro. A good even canopy like that and those buds r plump. I just pulled a plant, not sure if u seen it on the 250 page or not, and got 2 with some lazy lst. Me and my girl have 1 son. Well he's my step son but I've been with them since he was born, he calls me daddy and acts like me so he's my boy. Just turned 3 and man he's a handful. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world tho. On the shittiest of days he can make me laugh my ass off.

Glad to hear Both your babies are good! Yeah man I am still going strong but those popcorn buds are in serious danger lol! I don't have kids im abit young I think so gonna wait a bit but deffo want one sometime! If I named my plant Id get depressed when it died lol! My bird always laughs because when I was a young kid I used to hunt alot and now I get upset cutting my plant down lmao.

there will be many good times too bro. YEA I am smokin on that girl now. Has a real sweet skunk taste and pretty potent. I actually harvested at 5 wks lol, but it was some awesome bud when I picked off a sample so I had to chop it. I have a clone in flower now ill let go a full 8. Smokin ur own hard work is fuckn awesome man, ull be more addicted to growing than smoking after harvest if ur not already
