I got 23 watters and my tomato is touching the light with no damage at all. It actually tries to grow inside the curl. Put it right nose to nose with the light and see if theres any heat problems. Just watch it and move it down when necessary

EDIT:
In the amazon link it says this,

"5500K day light energy balance spiral energy saver light bulb"

So i think it's enought.,

Well they don't give me shit. I just lost my job because of school there fore no money. But what are you suggesting. I still have a few bags of dimes I'm selling. I could get money easy,

You could add as many cfls to your grow as you want, wire, socket and bulb for about $5 each. 4-pack of cfls, 4 sockets, and an extension cord from Lowes.
