Probably best not to use your ex-plant's soil. A bag of soil and perlite mix is what you need. The perlite holds oxygen which the roots need to breathe, without it you stand more chance of suffocating the plant.
It's up to you though, personally I have 2 thirds of my plants in soil & perlite, the others are in soil & manure. Just try and do the best for your plants, the nicer you are to them the nicer they will be to you.

Honestly, there is no difference. But they are only coming up to a week in flowering. Got seven lovely females so far. Mr. Lanky's looking good too.
Anyway, could talk all day about my plants, I'll investigate properly tomorrow, take a few pic's so you can judge for yourself.

i always used the foxfarm soils from the hydro store and had tremendous results. when i was still a n00b i tried using miracle grow until i realized how much it sucks

ive heard of people pissing in soil before. but i always thought urine was very acidic?

No, pissing on your plants is actually quite healthy not only for the plant but for you as well. It enables you to create a bond with your plant, one that will never go away. Not even when they are dried and smoked, living as kings in plant heaven, will that close bond ever depart.

Actually my friend has a huge tree that everyone pisses on during parties (as the bathroom is usually in use) So i assume that if its healthy for a tree it might be healthy for an mj plant, still the choice is yours, really based on morality i guess
