ok, so today my world has been rocked
I''ve read more on the subject of lumen/sq ft and i've come up with a dilema.
My pc growing area is aproximatively 0.9 sq feet.
>i only have 3 cfl now 1x20w 1x26w and 1x 12(or something like that ).
>1x20w=1200lm + 1x26w=1600lm +1x12w=500lm =3200lm

That is barely enough for vegetative grown, what if i get another 2800lm from another 26 and another 20.Will that be enough for flowering?

please excuse my noob question and if it''s already been asked forgive me :)

edit: i move my plant into sunlight in the noon from 1pm till 6pm. will that compensate untill i can repair my problem ?

all the things i''m reading on the internet make me confused. now i''ve read somewhere that 3000lm is more than adequate.

2500 per sq ft is considered the bare minimum. I wouldn't say 3,000 is more than adequate, but you are growing pot in a shoebox so you have to be careful of the heat. What's your temps in there, out of curiosity?

PC grow boxes imo are a hassle to make work effectively. Can you upload some pix? You can for sure grow a tiny plant in their but when I say tiny I am talking a couple gram harvest. (if you expect the pc to be closed & looking stealthy ^_^ ) I am guessing that is your reason for using it.

my temp is around 28 celsius or 80 fahrenheit( i thinks that''s the correct conversion ) .
i keep it like this with 2 computer fans, no carbon scrubber but with a ( i dont have it YET ) ionizer

here,my good sir . i think i messed up the image uploading XD. im sure i can add 2 more cfl and not heat that thing up too bad, if so i''ll get a new fan and make it an input fan( have only 2 outputs)

ok, so i scrapped the pc growbox and made a cartboard 1x1x2 ft . gonna grow it naturally( no sog or scrog cause im not sure i will do it right and currently it's my only plant and i dont want to mess it up )
i have 1x26w white cfl and 2x20w yellow cfl and a 10w yellow .
I had another 20w but it burned out ffs, almost caught on fire the metal socket melted and the wires i soldered fused to the metal ..... dont be stupid like i am and buy ceramic light sockets :)
