Do higher temps = fatter buds?

Growroom temps are 76f humidity 50%. I don't have a co2 setup, but i was still wondering if I raise temps to say, 80-82f with a slight increase in nutes... would I get fatter buds? I'm about 5-6 weeks into flower, growing sour diesel.

I'm using ocean forest soil, foxfarm nute trio, and a 400w hps. Here are my girls

The higher temps happen when you use CO2, they are a by-product. CO2 is what the plant intakes.

Raising your temps won't make bigger buds.

So you're saying that plants utilize as much co2 as they can at 76f, and raising temps won't increase their co2 consumption at atmospheric levels?

well sour d is a low yielder anyways,how close is your light,to the plant?
from my runs with sour d,keeping the light as close as i can,really helpd.

but raiseing temps,can lead to the plant drinking more,so you can feed/water more,wich might help fatting up the buds.

The CO2 is the CAUSE of the higher temps in a CO2 setup. If you aren't using a CO2 setup, this question doesn't apply to your grow.

Co2 allows for the grower too run higher temps.

SO... if my room is at 82 without Co2 they will not grow as good as if i had Co2 with the temps at say a lower degree...? im highly debating getting a C02 set up really really soon. like within the next few weeks if possible. im sub this thread!!

I'd be interested to know the answer to this question myself. Throughout my whole grow this time around, I have not been able to keep temps below 85, and at one point they ran 90 for a good chunk of the grow. They look like they are doing fine and only have a little bit of, what I think, is some signs of heat stress, but they have been showing that all along. It did seem to improve once I was able to get the temps into the 85 degree range, but it worries me a little.

I was also wondering if really low humidity is bad too. Since I put my girls outside in the new grow shed, the humidity has been running in the 10-20% range. In the old room it stayed a constant 45-50%.

When my humidity was at 20% I used 2 long pans of water with airstones in each bubbling, and a fan blowing over the water... raised my humidity by another 20%. My vent fan doesn't run constantly in winter though, so your results might be different. just a thought

might be a question you should ask yourself is quantity or quality?? , coz in the dark period the resin production increases and vice versa...

i read that optimum growth happened at 90f 60% humidity with 1800 ppm co2 (might be off on the humidity and co2 numbers by a tad, long time since i read this and i dont use co2)

didnt seem like a dumbass either, the guy who wrote it, but i dont have co2 exp, so

but plenty of folks with co2 experience, try some other forums too.

When running CO2 you want your temperature at around 80F because it allows the plants to better utilize the CO2, CO2 does not raise your temps. The best way to get great results is just to keep your plants healthy and CO2 will not decrease the quality of your buds.

no matter what,adding Co2,to the grow room,will make your grow that much better.
80 is not that bad,with out Co2,i do not run Co2,but i know it will help my room when i do add it.

strain matters alot,when it comes to heat/humd,90 is high<that can bring on all kinds of things.

the only time i try to get to the low 30% humd,is at the end of the grow,like the last 2-3 weeks.

Well, I just changed from my closet to an outside grow shed/converted chicken coop, so I'm trying to dial it in right now. I can't understand why the humidity is so low. I just checked and it is at 5%! WTF. The temp I can sort of live with, I'd like it 5 degrees cooler but its around 85 for the most part.
