Need Naphtha - Canada

Karmapuff, the naphtha doesn't evaporate in the freezer, you evaporate most of it to make it concentrated and then you freeze it so the solubility of the dmt drops so low that it precipitates out. Was the pool of liquid that froze on top of the naphtha or below it? If it is below it it's probably water.
The soft feeling and waxy smell is probably from waxes that get extracted into the naphtha layer (unless you used plastic at some point, in which case you might have plastic in it and should re extract to get rid of it). Waxes won't hurt you but plastic can.

The only plastic that was used in the extraction was the syringe when removing the naphtha from the lye, Its alot of filmy gunk so i think it might just be from the DMT
I only got about the size of a finger nail dose which I might smoke today... also its kinda brownish/yellow which I'm sure is normal with a STB method. It came out whiter then i had hoped though.

This is what the spice looks like! It smells like moth balls though. Moth balls are made with Naphthalene which is very similar to naphtha...
I hope there isn't any relationship between both these smells o_o

Coming from lots of experience extracting in Canada I use Coleman Camping fuel, there is a additive in the fuel that is a green color, for rust protection. This requires me to do a recrystallization using pure Heptane one or two times and NEVER do a full evaporation. If you use to much naphtha for freeze precipitation to work then you can evaporate it down some to make it more concentrated. The result is brilliant white crystal DMT in the end. The VM&P naphtha brand, is not for sale in Canada, but pure Heptane can be bought at Micheal's Crafting stores under the name "Bestine" use this only for the final recrystallization as it is expensive and except at high temperatures has a very low solubility to DMT. Which is why is works so very well for recrystallization.

Folks tell me all the time Coleman Fuel will not work due to the additive and such not, yet when they see my brilliant white DMT crystals or Fluffy DMT depending on how I do my final crystallization the doubts leave them (Mostly a time thing as to get rock hard crystal DMT you must evaporated the final recrystallization very slowly and should only be done after you have cleaned your product up at least once). The key is you can't just evaporate the Naphtha to get your DMT as the oils will be left in it and I would not want to be the one smoking rust inhibitors.

Underthelight why do you evaporate the recrystalization solvent? That makes it more likely that impurities will crystalize as well.

Only after the first recrystallization and drying, then I will recrystallize again with the Heptane if I want it in crystal form. Usually I just dispose of the recrystallization solvent and keep the fluffy white powder form of DMT. If you do it incorrectly and impurities remain you can tell by the color of the crystals in most cases.

The reason to for a slow evaporation is you can grow DMT crystals. It just looks cool, doesn't effect potency at all.

Here is a pic of some older DMT I have kicking around my PC currently, after awhile it turns a hint of yellow I believe due to oxidizing in air forming DMT-oxide. I had this stuff not stored airtight by any means for months. Not completely sure on the exact reason. But this picture is from a batch made about a year ago. My other batches are not readily available to photo right at the moment, and photo graphing my drug experiments is not a normal thing for me

I heard DMT-Oxide is alot more potent and a faster experience. I heard some people find in more UN-pleasant because it's so rushed... I wouldn't mind
BTW I have yet to even smoke it! I want to soon though... but need to find a right time.

You do not want DMT-oxide as it is an oil that will not crytalize correctly. Also not sure if it can be any faster acting then the normal freebase as the high is so fast acting and intense already. ALOT of folks I have let try DMT found it unpleasant as they were not truly prepared to be, figuratively speaking, shot out of a cosmic cannon. Even I only dabble with it once and awhile and sometimes it scares me shitless but non the less worth every moment.

Enjoy your experimenting and remember to have a sitter the first time at least to make sure you are not one of those folks whom move around and freak out while still under the influence. My wife watches me, but am at the point now that I know I don't even move more an inch once I have entered the Nexus, so I usually trip solo.

Underthelight that's some nice looking dmt too. The best way to get good crystals is to really slowly cool the recrystalization solvent. I like to use a watchglass to prevent it from evaporating and wrap the beaker or flask in some glass wool so it cools really slowly to room temp before going in the ice bath. Using brine in the icebath buys you a few more degrees as well.
