NPK in soil (help needed)?

Hello guys,
1st timer here, having problems choosing soil.

I'am living in place where it is very hard to find soil without any nutrients (NPK - it's nutrient levels right?) There are a lot of soils with this NPK in them, what kind of levels of this NPK is best for growing?

FYI it's gonna be 3 autoflower strains.

Thanks

heya,
indoors, stealth grow 24" wide, 22" deep, and 45"height, soil in pots, and it's going to be short autoflower strains up to 60cm max, seedlings gonna be under 23w cfls 6500k, after it 250w hps.
in hopes of short and fat.
any suggestions?

suggestions is what i do best, I'd tell Picasso how to paint. do you want me to help you design YOUR grow or do you want me to tell you how I'd do it?

I'd do it in coco for sure but it sounds like not an option? You have internet but no UPS or what?

I like your seed choice. so far so good. I pulled 3 z's off a ten inch auto. Really nice smoke.

If you're set on soil, then go with Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I haven't used it but I like the ingredient matrix and it get's rave revues. Any good nute company will provide you with a nute that fit well into this grow but I say keep it simple. Don't get caught up in voodoo bullshit. just keep it to an AB mix and add PK 13-14 in flower

what is coco?
i cannot spend any more money, and shipping will cost a lot to get it here.
also i have already bought perlite, and have nutes for growing in soil. wanted to know is it possible to normaly grow something in these soils with NPK already in them, and if it's an option, what NPK levels are the best?

Also, How many ya plannin on growing in that little space. You said "strains" as in more than one. They will need at LEAST one sq. foot each and should have more than that so I wouldn't do more than say three? Shootin yourself in the foot if you do more and opening the door to a raft of probs if ya crowd them

Well, sure you can grow weed in practically anything. I don't keep those NPK numbers in my head but it doesn't matter because you have to work with what you have or what's locally available. What are your choices? or more to the point where are you getting these choices (home depot, garden center or what) You can look for a soil that is compatible with tomatoes. MJ is somewhat similar to tomatoes in needs. Are you going to add the pearlite? Why did you get that?

Sure, i'am adding perlite, i read that it gives better aeration for roots. Today I will go to home depot and some other stores, and will find out what they have. Have been already in one of those places, and they said they have nothing without nutrients. Gonna check, and then i'am going to post it here.

The biggest problem with soil that already has ferts in them is that they tend to burn young plants. The soil is designed to grow plants without adding nutes so they have to put a bunch of time released stuff in there that is not as accuate to dose in the proper amounts for the time that the plant is is. They start out with too much then just right then end up with not enough. Better to start them in sterile soil aand transplant them into the fortified soil after they are less tender and more able to withstand nute burn and yeah, I missed the three plants sorry

Thanks for information. So i gonna try find some soil with NPK like for tomatoes 20:10:10. And maybe try to find some turf little pots for starting seeds.

That's ok, we all know what home depot has for the most part. I would probably go with a Kellogs as that will have the least amount of time released. I don't think you need to add too much pearlite to that thogh or you will have more of a hydro grow and you will need to water at least three times a day once they get very big. Suns up. gotta go. good luck. I'll check bac but someone else will no doubt take over so no prob. good luck Stay away from MG

You can also go to any decent garden center or nursery and get a bag of their "house mix" soil. Generally it has no added nutes, and has good structure.

hey, thx, found some nice soil mixed with some good ingridients, little bit sand, clay, fine silt, lime. It's also mentioned on pack that this one is for home growers. NPK 14-10-14.
Thanks guys.
