How Do you save a overwatered plant?

hey i have a two month old LA Con and i forgot about the hurricane that was coming n watered it a day before the hurricane came and on Saturday it rained all day with no sun so my plant didn't dry and took on more water and on sunday i found my top slump over and the soil still wet im thinkin i killed it to which ima cry but if someone can help that would be sweet :cuss::cuss::cuss::-?

Plants are resilient even when mother nature is nasty to em... If you can stake her upright and leave her be! ground should start drying out and be right back in action in a few days, 3-5.

yeah, the best advice came from 'reverof'. The best thing you can do, is just leave it alone for a few days and certainly don't give it any more water. No liquids at all...

leave her alone until you see that the top 1/4th layer of the soil is COMPLETELY dry.. or really close to being completely dry. Cannabis doesn't require to be watered every single day... unless your growing environment temps are extremely high with very low RH levels.. but if that were the case, you would more than likely have other problems with the plant. Anyhow, the general 'rule of thumb' when watering cannabis.. is after you water the plant, wait 3 to 5 days and then check the top 1/4th" or so of the soil.. check to see how dry it is. If its' completely dry or really close to being completely dried out.. you can go ahead and water again.

I follow that rule personally.. when I do grow, and its never failed me. I can't remember the last time I had any plant issues actually.. but anyhow, yeah.. just let her be for a few days.. then after about the 3rd or 4th day with no water, recheck the soil moisture content.. and like I said, if the top 1/4th" or so of the soil is completely dried out or close to being completely dried out... this is your cue to go ahead and water again.

either dig her up and transplant which will cause more stress. or go grab a massive fan and put it on your plant asap, wind causes the plant to drink more...but its its complety wet and u dont wanna transplant i would try putting more soil ontop of the plant to soak it up. just make sure the soil u put on is dry to begin with.u can also buy some shit that u throw down and it absorbs the water so it will help take in water and help hold it for later on so that plant can use the moisture from it .

Lever A or Lever B i would do the B the ground will take the water in no time just post your girl up so she dont fall :hump:

Yep, its certainly not the first time a plant has seen days of rain. I would get ready for an explosion of growth in a few days if I were you. Nature has spent a few years dealing with such events......
