i do feel bad for those who fro some reason have no other choice and cant get it from their grower for cheaper. but 300 an ounce? ive never once in 10 years heard of it that high, ive never seen any go over 225 an oz. down here an OZ in croptober goes for about 100 bucks if not less, in mid summer like we are in now when it is a lil bit dryer it goes for about 150-180

Sounds like you are too young to remember. Sounds to me like your only experience is in the world after medical marijuana took hold. This is part of why I have no problem paying good money for a good ounce. I lived in Southern Oregon from 1993 to 2002, and I saw ounces up to 400 dollars (given, only once or twice). Bags of anything good went for 50. An ounce on the street would be 275 to 350 in most cases, if it was worth smoking.
The truth is, prices have gone wayyy down in the last 10 years, especially in (I say it all the time) WEED SOAKED SOUTHERN OREGON. People used to be able to get rid of their pot to the Bay area, and get 60 dollar bags and 400 dollar ounces. Now that Cali has quasi-legal status, those markets are not available for the SO grower, so their prices have dipped. Simple supply and demand if you look at it.
This is part of why I think anyone bitching about an ounce for 200 dollars has not been at this very long, and has no idea how life worked even 15 years ago. No wonder none of you young bucks have any respect for growers......

I am growing tired of hearing about McPurple's inexpensive weed. Purp, you are always bragging about these great prices you get.......time to show us your results. Post pics of the weed you get for the prices you get it for. I would love to see how it compares to what I get or grow up here. Just from the prices you mention, and the fact that it is outdoor, I have to see it to believe that it is good. No offense, but there are a lot of folks that just have no idea what good is from bad. Post some pics of some of the nugs you are getting, so we can all be jealous. I want to see the weed you would get for 100 to 180.

then you my friend were getting ripped off at those prices, ive lived here all my life and never once seen a price like that here. like i said 225 max. and no i do not have respect for nay grower who makes theri patient pay street prices for theri meds, they to me are just as bad as the pharmaceutical companies. i do have respect for compassionate growers who dont charge or at least when they do have theri patients come with them and actually buy the material for them cuz thats how its supposed to be legally and morally.
i dont want to argue but you seem to bring up bad subjects, again i was just giving my opinion and it gets shit on.
these are prices i get it for when i was not legal and had to buy i havent bought weed for since i was legal unless some one else besides my grower had some stuff i wanted to try. and trust me im sure our weed down here is just as good and some better just like im sure theri is some dank shit up theri. and what does outdoor have to do with prices they should be the same down here cua the outdoor is just as good if not better. i prefer the outdoor. and sorry i am not gonna go waste money on an ounce to take a pic of it and show you.
i know what GOOD weed is and i know what BAD weed is. ive only been around it my whole life. and where did i say my weed was better than anyones? i said it is dank and its free like it should be so why would nay one be jealous?
i think you should just go to a new site for your ranting like you stated in your grow thread mad about people not following it.

It sounds like you might have a good idea how Cave Junction works, so keep that up.
And about me leaving....go back and read it again (I love how you are checking out my grow thread)......I never said I was leaving, just thinking of posting my journal in another place, since the Oregon section is dead.

At this point on rollitup, you have always talked shit about how cheap it is to grow, and you even set up a journal to "prove" you were right....but we never saw how that ended? We never got to see your home grown cheap weed experiment. Uncle Buck was even willing to run side by side with you, and you balked (that means you did not do it).
Ultimately, in life, sometimes you have to prove yourself, especially when you get on rollitup and make all the claims that everyone else has overpaid for weed......everyone but you, McPurple.....call me crazy, but I just do not believe you.
No journals to show what you know and can do.....no pics of your 100 dollar ounces, no pics of your leached meds. McPurple is not a felon because of growing, either, so I do not have sympathy for him.
And as for my meds, I have literally thousands of pics up that show what I do. But then again, I like to back up my claims with proof. But that is just me, maybe in prison they do not do that?
