I have finally created what I believe to be the best setup money can buy with the space I have.

My grow OP:

-600watt HPS Cool tube grow light

-3/42watt CFL's for early vegetation
-Phresh 4" 100% Virgin Australian Charcoal Filter
-160 CFM 4" High Intake Inline Fan

I have this all set up in my 48"x48"x76" Mylar/Canvas Grow Tent

So what do you guys think....How am I doing. Any comments, questions, concerns? Any advice you can share would be much appreciated. Always trying to improve and expand my grow.

Subbed, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm doing 4 plants with that same blower, cool tube and all. Can't wait to see how yours does :)

I'm using the FFLW and FFOF soil, with the FF soil trio for nutes as well. I'm growing 2 White Rhino as well, and 2 Kings Kush. A lot of the same factors xD

Yo get rid of that FFOF bullshit...that soil sux ass!!!! Make your own soil mix like I did...A little more expensive but WELL worth it my friend. FFOF is infested with Aphids larvae and eggs. That shit is contaminated. And the soil condenses down when you get it wet. It just sux all around! But keep up the good work...and I wil race ya to see who can Harvest their White Rhino and Kush faster/ and with more potency! hah

I accept your challenge :) I've heard very good things about FFOF,and my FFLW is beautiful looking soil, so I'll stick with that and it can be our difference in the challenge :P I'm mixing 20% perlite and some lime with it, so hopefully it won't condense as much as it would.

Sounds like a nice experimental control...how old are your babies again. mine are a little over two weeks from sprouting out soil.

im using ffhf and no problems yet today they are a week old from placing sprouts in dirt, i did alot of updates to my room also its funny how picky we become once we got the grow bug lol my setup is nearly perfect i cant wait this is my second grow with white widow i bet it turns out better then my first, i wanna get some pics up but am noid bout the whole pics on my computer thing lol

Im not running my 600watt HPS yet...no need to. They are so young...I have just started the veg cycle and as of now Im going to keep them under 3/42watt CFL's. In about 2 weeks im going to throw on my 150watt HPS that has a nice cool blue color to it. (perfect for vegging) Then at the end of my veg cycle I am going to switch the lights to 12/12 and kick on my 600watt HPS

Fox Farm Ocean forest is by far the best bag of soil you can buy. Making your own mix is another story, but FFOF is the way to go if you don't wanna spend a shit load of money to mix your own.

I actually have my seedlings in FFOF now....but my first grow attempt with it had terrible root aphid problems...then I red on RIU that they did a test with it and literally saw Aphids crawling out of a the soil straight from the bag.

I had a question about your ventilation. Looks like alot of ducting, sharp bends, and only a 4" fan pulling through a filter and 6" cooltube. I'm afraid heat may become an issue with 600watts. How cool Is the surrounding room?

:leaf::leaf:Thanks for the conern, but I have much more than a 4in. booster fan pulling air through my ducting. I have an EcoPlus Inline Fan...with a four inch fitting. IMG_2568.jpg It has 160 CFM's. I am pretty sure this is enough power to keep it cool(including the 4 in. booster fan right next to the cool tube)...I haven't been using my 600watt yet, but as of right now, my tent stays at around 72-74 degrees. The surrounding room is my bedroom, which also stays at around 72-74 degrees:leaf::leaf:
