its funny really, because while i was in there, out back, i could hear customers debating what works better and blah blah, much the same as on here , lol
yeh ive already got over what he said, i just found it odd that he was happy to sit there and watch things progress without saying anything helpful, hey ho, no biggy, its all good
Great. I'm back. Here is the deal dude, and I'm
Not trying to be a fuck stick or anything. I generally avoid the plant hospital section as unless there is something very basic wrong, then people start throwing out tons of advice. Probably half shit/ half real. This was exactly the case in your thread, people were throwing out all kinds of shit. I never "stood by laughing" as you say. If you look back at my original post I addressed the problem at hand, offered you an easy an sound solution (foliar feed), and offered sound advice...get some quality nutrients, don't over water, etc. And low and behold, you foliar fed, got some high quality nutrs and things are back on track.
Perhaps because i scolded you in the end you saw my advice as wrong. I mean, who is to say how much one guy knows over another based on his avatar.
I could have written five pages on the mechanics behind my advice (foliar b/c its faster and immune to substrate ph problems), soap as surftant to redue surface tension and avoid burning and prevent bugs, let the soul dry to increase oxygen levels amd facilitate the osmotic uptake of nutrients and induce regenerative root growth through air pruning, etc etc etc. But at some point a guy has to say WTF? Put your research time in..i certaint did. The reason I didn't type all that shit out is because a guy will take the time to write some logical and very well thought out post, then some guy will completely ignore you. Which kind of sucks, but to some knowledgable people also spells...this dude isn't worth the trouble.
Its a science but not rocket science. You will find that they need a whole lot less care once you get some time under your belt and learn the basics. When that is done you can research the why's behind various steering techniques and really start to master things. When in doubt when there are many different opinions, I would generally default to looking at someones rep. Rep typically comes by giving past sound advice. You will see that the guys with tons of rep show up, post awhile, and then disappear. I suspect because they get a little tired of the BS; but the good news is that there is always a steady stream of people that know what the hell is going on. And remember the old adage "if someone is a commercial grower and has perfected a technique, why would he be on the Internet telling everyone?". The best growers that I know spend absolutely zero time online (besides jacking off to German fisting porn).
Your on the right track anyways and you got rid of your miracle grow; which is good because that stuff is for housewives.
