Thursday Night Chop Down!

I just put a plant into flowering today, and she is at 38" away. and i put her right under the new UFO to!!

The closest plant is at 24" inches away right now. I went with your advice, I'm starting them far away and letting them choose how much light they need. keeping in mind I have five different strains in flowering right now. they all want something different so it's tough for me to keep an even canopy.

ya thats why i started to keep them all the same strain. in flowering i plan on being about 26" or around their but in veg i am around 36" the plan is to work them to when their in flower the lights are around that height.

please do keep me posted on these light heights. its all a new learning curve but what ive seen with my own eyes leds can grow some crazy buds. were just in the very high power stage of leds now and thats when we need to learn the new curve and get even fatter buds.

you bet, I'll let ya know anytime I lower them. I am keeping everything else very simple. a general 20-20-20 nutrient and lots of cool fresh air. my canopy level is at 75F right now.

and i sure do like fatter buds!!!

these GLH models sure do. it think it is all due to having 3w diodes. my veg panel is only 1w diodes and you can see a huge difference. but these GLH models really put light all the way down to the bottom leaf!!

they are doing really well man, I'm gonna up-can them early next week. I'll post some pics.... so how is the new position going? are you getting mad respect? let us know if ya have any problems we will come up and ruff em up a little!! hahahahaha

I just sprayed the outdoors, a bit of spider mites...i normally dont care with the outdoors but its still a bit early in the season and i dont want them coming inside. I harvested the best of the best including the grand master, mendo x mk and hh cross #1. cant wait to test smoke em all. the hh crosses have a peanut butter type smell, like a sweet island skunk smell.

I did some more work on the cabinet today, i installed a second intake tube to allow more fresh air in. I also repositioned all the plants and what do ya know, i now have room for one more... well two more if i mount my fan on the wall!!!

The big news is I got my new lights in the mail!!!! one was damaged but after another very pleasant phone call with the owner of GLH it will be replaced right away. now that is customer care!!!!!!!!!!!! top notch support!!! answered my call right away and solved my issue in five minutes. then we continues to talk some more where he once again taught me even more about these lights and how they differ.

here are some photos of what i did and the new lights. they are more orange looking now... really cool!!!

Sorry, no chop down tonight. it might be a few weeks till i can cut one down. they seem to have lost a bunch of time when they were sick. I just gave them all a nice light feeding of Jack's 20-20-20. I am going to move that fan so i can fit one more plant in. not sure which one will go in yet. this first pic is of the overstuffed veg box. the two family shots are interesting. one is taken with the flash and one without these GLH lights are now so bright it over takes the flash of the camera!!! and the rest are random bud porn!! hey aev! things are getting better, thanks for asking. I started using jack's 20-20-20 on them and they seem to like it. i still had small issue with the AK and I even went out and bought anther PH tester but it was fine. after giving it the jacks it has been getting better everyday.

I hope ya get those mites!!! they are a terror on yield! that HH cross sounds like something i would like!!! looking forward to your smoke report!!
